I finished playing Love of Magic a few days ago and just saw this one from Droid Production. And I am a bit confused. LoM was great and all. Really enjoyed it, so now I have high expectations from this one as well, but before downloading I just wanna ask are these LIs same from LoM?
The idea was a gathering of souls destined to be reborn together, across different realities, to fight the darkness together.
Hopefully they're written in such a way that Emily, Katie and the rest that made the jump still *feel* like the same souls, even if they're staring at a different place in life. Emily's an Angel, not a princess, but hopefully you can still feel that the way she thinks, acts and speaks maps back to how LoM's Emily would have acted, given the same constraints. Katie's still Katie, despite losing the brogue, and Snowdrop's all grown up
In retrospect, life would have been easier if I just made another pretty brunette to be my Angel, and another pretty redhead to be my Red Devil; it would save on the confusion. On the positive side, I did finally manage to get justice for Katie, which was one thing I felt I hadn't fully done in LoM. She and Emily share the role of principal LI this time, with 4 distinct endings depending on which characters you picked to romance.
