I think Blackweb's way for Mom/Viv could be that with Viv's ambition to win this Ultimatum the Mom "opens" her eyes and sees that their way (Her and the deceased Husband) were wrong and a monogamus relationship is possible. And Viv proved it. Moms point is that there could be no happy life in monogamus relationships, that it would not be healthy. Vivian's winning could be a literal "slap" for Moms point in these romance route, showing that monogamus relationships are also possible.

As much as I'd like for Mom to have a change of heart and realize she's had her fun with all her lovers, but something with Viv would be too special to pass up and at least try to be faithful/monogamous... I just don't see it happening. Mom has been living this way for too long and had already been hesitant at the prospect of giving up most if not all of her lovers just to be exclusive with Viv. While I believe Mom should have pushed for a compromise where they each are allowed to pick someone to add to their relationship on top of occasionally inviting 'guests' to join them for monthly/bi-monthly playdates, she instead chose to justify her position as not wanting to limit Viv's experiences by limiting herself being monogamous.
Funny enough she often pushed Viv towards Des and there's no doubt in my mind those two would be the kind of exclusive, monogamous couple Viv was pushing for with Mom. So I just believe Mom is unable to accept Viv is not like her in needing to be intimate with as many different people as possible just because she is exploring her sexuality. Meanwhile Viv may be open minded to consider a limited - poly or throuple relationship but at the end of the day centered around her and Mom, but just has a hard time accepting how Mom could experience something so intense and special with her but still need to have an open relationship and not commit to a romantic relationship.

As things stand now, either party would be unsatisfied if they got exactly what they wanted. If Viv fully accepts mom's conditions she may later feel she's inadequate for mom / to satisfy mom and become jealous of her other partners. And ultimately break up with her. On the other hand mom could feel stifled by the relationship (if she tries to keep it monogamous) causing her to act stiff and their relationship become stilted and feelings turning cold. In the end one of them ending it.
As we talked about the solution could be a compromise in the form of a (closed) poly relationship. Which currently isn't on the table. Yes, with mom and Viv as the central couple. Mom, as the oldest and most experienced, being the "matriarch" of the family and Viv as the "CEO".
Or if you choose the romance option "want to become my girlfriend", Viv could try to seduce mom.
Mom already wants to have sex with Viv every day instead of just a one-off. Which could lead to the poly relationship. But then there is MLS. Which I guess serves BWG to get his mind off the tangled mess that is DDoS.
And gives players what they couldn't get in DDoS (yet). Maybe he uses it as a testbed to see what works and what the players like. Before implementing it in DDoS. Maybe he made it just to give us what we won't get in DDoS. Don't get me wrong, I'm still grateful for making MLS.

That actually makes even more sense as a solution if it wasn't for the fact that Eve and Des hate each other and Des would get insanely jealous. On a side note, personally I can't really stand Eve, I know she has her own baggage and reasons why she doesn't allow herself to get too attached, but as she is now, I constantly keep turning her down, which is both sad and hilarious.My solution for Mom is for Viv to have a loving throuple with Des and Eva. I also feel like that's essentially rewarding Mom with exactly what she wanted all along, and as painful and awkward as it would be at first, I'd break up with Mom completely going so far as to say it was a mistake and their night together while amazing, was also regrettable. Regrettable from the standpoint neither will be happy going forward since they just aren't a good match for the other despite the great sex.
Bringing it back to this game would be amazing if somehow we got a crossover with Amelia and Michelle meeting Viv and Mom. If they were able to befriend them and of course allow themselves to be seduced by them, they could see how they function as a committed, and practically engaged couple but still have fun with others. I think if Mom were to agree to allow Viv to sign off on any prospective lovers they bring in, it would help assuage any feelings of jealousy, so that Mom isn't just off fucking anyone she wants, without first talking to Viv about it. I still see how adding Des could also help Viv with her insecurity for when Mom goes off on her business trips with Rebecca. Since she's her glorified babysitter and part time lover, Viv would begrudgingly accept their arrangement while she at least had Des to lean on in those times where Mom is gone for work.
