That wasn't a true update, he just added replays to scenes. His last real update was like the 18th of July....

I'm playing this on Mac but for the life of me I can not get the control panel to come up to try fixing these errors. It is the usual one:

Anyone having issues actually giving characters objects they want?
Was the process changed? I hover over the bottom left, the item inventory pops up and I get told "I can't use this right now"

@Megatron71 The books to the librarian & the cousin, using the oil on the doors, or the coffee on the coffee maker.
I just get the Can't Use This Right Now prompt. Nothing works, neither clicking one and then the other. Or drag and dropping. There's also no prompt in the dialogue menues for a lot of it.
