I was wondering if you could change your stance about Scarlett's mom. Once she finds out the truth about kevin, she'll be devastated, and perhaps she's not seeing his true self because she fears being alone. Let MC's love heal her.

Right now my stance about Scarlett's mother can't change until My Dorm arrives at a certain point. Then, the players will have all the information and I will do a couple of surveys among my Patrons. One of the surveys is related to Scarlett's 'family'. I can't disclose more about it. Right now she isn't a love interest. After the survey, she can be.

For me, Scarlett's mother is a big challenge; I've stated she's totally deaf, and I know very little about deaf culture in the US. I have some knowledge about it here in Spain, as I worked for a company that integrates people with disabilities (no offense intended) into the labor market. A fellow player, and expert in this, has offered to help me with this in the past, and even reviewed the chat with Scarlett in the park, pre-publishing, to be sure there wasn't anything offensive. Thanks, Robert Monotoli. If in the end, Scarlett's mother becomes a LI, I'll need a lot of help on this topic.

Those two, Megan and Sophie, won't fit in the harem for different reasons. They were designed as side-chicks from the start, as was Maddie. With Maddie, I found a reason to make her join under some circumstances.
I could find a reason for Megan to join if I change her a bit, as the main reason in her design to not join was that she doesn't live in Newport and won't move. Someone pointed out that not all the women in a harem necessarily should live with MC. I had a wrong concept about this.
But Sophie is very difficult to justify personality-wise. Who wants a gossiper in an incest-included harem?

Note that I haven't gotten to the part of the story with those two yet, so I can't comment too much in-depth on them. However, personally I should note that the problem with the idea of designing women as side-girls from the start is: What if, it turns out that your audience ends up liking a girl far more, proportionally, than your initial classification of the girl's status suggests? I know that snakeplisskin said that he really liked Megan, for example, and wanted her in the harem.
With Sophie, I can see how that would be difficult to justify without significant character development, but the question is who deserves how much amount of character development? I see heroines all as "potential main girls" rather than "this woman is a main girl" and "this woman is a side girl", and to dynamically adjust allocation of amount of character development/screentime/effort put into the character's story and scenes based on audience reaction.

I actually really enjoy when there are side or minor girls there to let the MC have some fun early while properly establishing relationships with the main LIs.

No, no LI or (female) family member will die in My Dorm. They had their share of deaths with the plane crash. And Mystery Girl is there to avoid it.
Although there's a bit of drama and violence, at the end of the day My Dorm tries to be a 'feel good game'

I havent played PA but in BARS the sister is only shot she makes a full recovery. It also leads to a bunch of break ups for the MC because all the LI show up at the hospitial to comfort him and find out about each other. Which was fun to watch because the Dev had been honest that cheating would be a problem but no one believed him bfore that.

As personal preference, I would agree with the desire to harem every girl in the universe - That is what fantasy is for. However, none of us have any idea of your plans for the plot, and you should not sacrifice any measure of the story, as you wish to tell it, to appease the whims of individuals. If it is quality, I will enjoy it as it is, and do not expect everything as I might happen to prefer it. Tell your story.

I understand what you mean, designing them (Sophie, Maddie, and Megan) as side-girls is something that I won't do if I ever write another game. Their function was to provide 'fun content' while the relationship with the 'main' girls developed, and they ended as a side note.

With Maddie, I changed my mind and she will appear in 0.6 to start her path(s), as nothing is written in stone until published.

Megan will return in 0.7 or 0.8 (0.7 concept is growing a lot bigger than I thought) and Sophie an update after that. So perhaps I can find a reason to include them in the harem, but I can't promise anything. Obviously, it isn't necessary for me to decide about it before their next appearances, as I can begin that path as planned originally and decide before the planned break up.

Megan is getting a lot more love than I thought she will, here and on other sites. As I said, nothing is written in stone.


Maddie CAN be a part of the harem. She has three paths: FemDom, MaleDom, and Romance if you peeped on Martha. Only romance if you didn't. Only the Romance path assures her in the harem. The other two don't bar her from entering the harem, but there should be some other coincidences.

The problem with the gotta have them all games is similar to fetishes, you will always be disappointing someone.

Not every girl is going to be everyones cup of tea plus most people dont like forced relationships so everyone has to been optional.

I do, too, but if the side/minor girl is cute and nice, it makes it more likely people will grow attached to her and want her in the harem. For examples, look at Shawna and Aiko in Grandma's House. They're the first two girls, specifically meant as side characters to have early H scenes, but both interesting enough that a lot of people are disappointed they won't be in the full harem.

Come on man don't do that, if you are going to add a girl into the game and make her lewdable and give her screen time make her a part of the harem. What is the point of having a relationship with any of the "side girls" if they don't go to a satisfactory point? What is the incentive for us to pursue a one time thing? Or made them use screen time that could be use to persue real relationships? I'm personally more into ownership than rental if you get what I mean. Don't fall into the trap of adding "side girls" just for the quick sex or to be fillers. And about Megan, I don't know call me crazy but the easiest solution would be making her move to the MC city right? It isn't like the character has mind of her own you are the one writing it. It actually could be materially for something quite romantic, they start dating but get to see each other very little but she love him so much and want to make things work that she move to his town.
