I worked with a baking company client many years ago that had an interest in "Bimbo". First time I saw it I was a bit amused, since the only other use of that term I'd ever seen was a reference to either a very loose woman or a prostitute. I guess such women could get petty yeasty, so maybe that's the connection.We have Bimbo bread (English bread)
With the heavy Hispanic influence in my area, I will occasionally seen the Bimbo logo on delivery trucks in areas that serve primarily Mexican ethnic communities.
