I would suggest two quality of life improvements to really help with the frequent comments that the games are torture. I'm not a patreon, so I guess feel free to tell me to piss off, but in my experience the by far most frustrating parts of these games are
1. Not knowing how many times you have to repeat an event until something new triggers
2. Not knowing what you need to do to trigger the event
ex ch.6: the midnight skinny dipping event is triggered by...who knows. And you need to repeat it, like, 8 times to complete the event. Especially with one of the (possible) triggers being the insane girl demanding $600 for pictures, it's just stupidly time-wasting and frustrating.
Having a little counter to tell you how many repetitions you need for the event and how many you've completed, and having an additional hint pointing to required triggers for tricky events, would be massive QoL improvements.
