Why don't you play the game before you start to make comments?
Why don't you listen to those that make comments instead of being stubborn and thinking you are fantastic? No matter what crap one makes there are always people that will sing the praise of it. Be sensible. Sure you'll never get everyone to support you but instead of being snarky with those that point the flaws you could take the time to learn and improve.

1/ Sure it's the first version of this prequel to a prequel to a prequel but it has ZERO nudity in it. So how long before all those prim and proper girls suddenly will turn into cum hungry sluts that will fuck everything in sight because the MC touched their left shoulder enough times at 5:15 pm on a wednesday after buying enough of a certain item? Lemme guess, a years worth of updates, right? Never mind that there won't be any logical reason, nor any agency of the characters to turn into bimbo's.

2/ Al the girls are virtually the same. AGAIN. One would think that after all your other games you would have a budget to buy some new assests. Take a handful of any females of any of your previous games and the biggest difference between them all is hair colour and style and sometimes a skin tone. Here's a novel concept. Have some differences in body type. You might not know this but not all women of a certain age have the same cup size. Nor are they all petite. Some have a flat ass while other have a considerable booty. Variation is something that each of your games miss. And people have been telling you that for ages. Here's a bonus tip : not all girls have the same near identical eye colours.

3/ Your renders look clinical, just like in any of your other games. Look up from your screen, talk a walk outside. Enter a building, observe. We don't live in a world where we are constantly surrounded by flood lights. In other words, shadows aren't something to avoid even in an empty room. Not to mention that every room you render doesn't look like anyone lives there. Putting some stuff on a shelf is not the same as making it feel real.
Sure the one shop looked half decent although one has to wonder why it looks utterly different during the night compared with the day.

4/ Showing a door ajar but letting the player choose to open the door or entering it only to be told that the door is locked. LOCKED while showing a door a jar? HUH !?

5/ After a hand ful of iterations of the same concept one would hope you got it in your skull that wack-a-mole doesn't equate to open world, let alone enjoyable open world. Character X is here. What room? GUESS ! Oh, she isn't actually in any room (WTF do you mean with she is here?!) .... let's try all rooms again after advancing the time.... oh... you missed to click on the right room at the right time... try again tomorrow. Sure some people will say that is the BEST ever game loop but you are alienating the vast majority of possible players.

You still think that players just LOVE to guess what they have to do next, where and when instead of incorporating it in the story.
Seeing the same render over and over again, with the same dialog line, shows lack of empathy for the player on your part and an inability to tell a story not to mention the sheer insult to the players time.

6/ Look at all the prior posts in this thread, let alone in threads of your previous games, where YOU had to point to what the solution was to make progress in the story. Doesn't that tell you that your game is broken? How long before once again you upload a save file to sort cut the grind and the bugs that prevent progress so as to by pass a fair chunk of your game?

7/ " I don't want to make games with endless episodes and no nonsense scenes. To be honest - this is controlled by the numbers of supporters. As soon as they start to drop drastically I know it's time to switch to a new game"
Thank you for being honest. The above is a quote from you where in you admit that you don't have a grand idea (an actual story board with a beginning ,middle and end) but just milk game updates until financial support start to dwindle after which you switch to a 'new' game to start the process again.
This explains why Room for Rent can be a v16 Beta while also being marked as completed after being in limbo for more than a year.

" Episode 17 will be released after last episode of 'My best friend's daughter' " (see https://f95zone.to/threads/room-for-rent-v16-beta-celavie-group.33328/page-312)

Almost 2 years later and no episode 17 has released even although MBFD has continuted for a second season.

To those that just want to drool over the petite girls my advice is to download irfanview and it's plugins, or something similar, and just scroll through the folder of .webp pictures. It will save you lots of time and considering that the story line/dialog would even be rejected for a '70s porn short, you won't miss out on the story.

And to those that will claim that this is just an attack by a troll, just prove the 7 points I made to be untrue.
Making a game should be more than just making some overly bright renders. Novel concept, having a story to tell instead of dude wants to get in girls panties and gets there by biding his time doing nonsensical stuff for real life hours and hours.

I don't think this game is for you. There are many games in F95 that might suite you better.
I like the teasing, I like the slow corruption, but taking the cake out of the end and giving a tootsie roll is not great. If you give less at the end its just gonna be cucking the fan base which I am not a fan of.

There are a lot of exception errors. They can be ignored but some bug fixing before release would be nice.

Edit: Just as I wrote this I ended up in an exception error loop. Had to quit.

Why on Earth would somebody who wants something totally different from that being offered come back to make puerile comments? Couldn't you have figured that out on the first of CLV's games and just gone somewhere else. Your points do not even make sense.
1. Just silly, you don't understand the rationale of the game.
2. Why on Earth should CLV try to imitate real life women with their diversity? He has chosen some outstandingly beautiful ones, and if you don't like it, as before.
3. You fail to understand the skill with which CLV has mastered lighting effects. Why don't you go to some game where things are obscured more?
4. Minor errors, thanks for pointing it out.
5. You haven't figured out how to play the games efficiently. You should be embarrassed.
6. Some players are like you and can't figure out how to play efficiently. CLV is kind enough to take time out of his production schedule and help them.
7. Sounds like you ae hungry for a new episode. Bob's production schedule exceeds that of any other dev, one large update per month, instead of every 3 or 6 months. You should not be making silly comments (but thanks for the one error in line no 4) but complimenting him on the immense output he has. And get rid of your ridiculous review!
You got one point right and 6 points silly. You lose.

Hello ! yes, i know i'm one of the biggest fan of celaviegroup....blablabla....but please,
I do not understand the fact of lowering a game in the notes. The game is at the start!!!! it's crazy this way of complaining without arguing anything relevant... The best playful moments I've spent in the adventures of the AVN is that celaviegroup who made me live them... I have great confidence in each of the games. (big heart for room to rent) I'm waiting impatiently, and it's not easy, before playing it to have enough episodes, even if I know it will be long because this time, it seems to be the whole thing for the whole thing with 20 episodes <3 but please...stop saying nonsense...it doesn't deserve so much hassle, the games are all we're looking for and above all, it's smarter and smarter than you think, it's very well built and thoughtful but hey, I've said enough about the other game reviews...just wanted to express it, because it annoys me the few stars, even if each of these tastes... is not justified.
I think you can add your own review by just clicking on the stars.

thank you, but I'm waiting for the game to be further. there it was not my review, it was my support. I'm tired of reading reviews from people who haven't understood the idea and the concept... everyone has their own tastes, we like it or we don't like it ok... but that's not a reason to attack the author or those who support him.

Dear all
It looks like some of you have troubles with the game.
This is not a standard novel - you need to make your own strategy to 'attack' the challenges.
If you just click around - you'll find this game very grindy as THIS IS NOT A CLICK AND WATCH NOVEL.
Hint: Choose one of the girls and follow her for a week. Make sure she's in a good mood and don't care about the other 2 girls. If you need money take photos of the other 2 girls and don't care about their mood. When girls are out make sure to study, read about yoga etc. Make sure to visit groceries and the other shops. When the 2 youngest sisters are out in the afternoon, go to the café and visit Eve. In stat (upper left corner) there is a link to the event list - you can follow your progress here. If there is no progress in a specific timeslot it might cause that the girl is not in a good mood or the progress is related to another timeslot like making appointments etc. This is a huge game with more than 200 subevents. Bugs may occur as it's impossible to get rid of all bugs. If you're facing bugs - not just stuck in game - I'll be happy to be informed so I can fix it.
Wish you all happy playing

First I want to thank you for being so interested in my games. I'm really grateful that you spend so much of your time on my games even that it's clear you don't like them. You have really been digging deep into every small comments in my threats.
I'll try to answer your points as good as possible.
1. As I have pointed out before - I find a girl in a small bikini more sexy than an old women naked on a bed spreading her legs. I find it more exciting to build everything up to the sex scenes instead of just - "Hello let's fuck and then go ahead". I make games in a way that I like but clearly not what you like and you can't change that.
2.You are right - most of the girls have blue eyes. There is a good reason for that - and you'll know why when the last game of Bob's adventure is over. Similar girls - I don't think so. They are all made on different platforms so this is not right. I have had girls with small tits and large tits etc. It's true that I do not have middle age women with giant boobs and giant buttock as this can be seen in many other games... and these are not my preferences.
3. I make approximaly 1.000 images per update/month. Previosly I have asked my Audience if they prefer non glitches images but only 300 images or 1.000 images with few glitches. The answer was clear. I've made the light as I prefer... where you can see details instead of half dark images (light is probably more correct) where interesting details are hidden behind shadows. Again this is personal preferences.
4. It's good to see that you - at least have played the game so you have seen a locked door. (...or did someone else write about a locked door?) :) As player - you have to think ' Ohh here I ran into a locked door ... what do I have to do to open the door or why the girl will keep it locked - instead of just try to open it again. This is a game not a novel. You need to make a strategy before you 'attack' the challenges. This has been pointed out many times. With your deep investigation in my games you must have seen it.
5.See point 4
6. See point 4
7.Episode 17 and upwards of Room for Rent will be made as the last story about my life (I'm still alive :) )
I'm happy to see that you're so keen to play episode 17 of RfR and still is waiting for it :)

I can't spend more time on you so you'll not see any further reply from me. Your tone is unacceptable and seems agressive to me. You have not proven that you have played my games at all - still. Nevertheless - if you reply in a polite way and prove that you have played the game and need help I'll consider to come back to you.
Have a great day.
Cheers
Bob

"Why on Earth would somebody who wants something totally different from that being offered come back to make puerile comments?"

Puerile? Ah I see, if one doens't agree with you it can't possible be because they have a point.

"Couldn't you have figured that out on the first of CLV's games and just gone somewhere else."

Exactly, each and everyone of his games have the same lack of imagination, lack of story, lack of agency to the characters, lack of believable rooms, lack of diversity of models.

"your points do not even make sense."

Oh I'm looking forward for you to demonstrate that.

"1. Just silly, you don't understand the rationale of the game."

Rationale : a set of reasons or a logical basis for a course of action or belief.
What is the rationale in the game? You life with a bunch of young ladies, looking barely in their teens, who love to walk around with barely anything on but aren't interested in you until you did enough simpy things at particular times for enough times to turn them in wanting sex hungry bimbo's so that they'll repeat the same certain sex acts in the same place and the same time for however often you want. Please show me how this isn't a description of each and everyone of his games?
Is that the rationale you claim?

"2. Why on Earth should CLV try to imitate real life women with their diversity? He has chosen some outstandingly beautiful ones, and if you don't like it, as before."

I bet that I could show you 10 renders of 'different' girls selected out all of his games and you wouldn't be able to tell me to which of his 'games' they belong. If their hairdo's where hidden you wouldn't even be able to make out that there would be 10 "different" models. Ever heard of immersion? Imagine watching a movie and all the female characters are played by the same actress and the only difference is the wig she wears. Heck imagine a porn movie where all the females are portrayed by a single women with different wigs. Can you honestly not see how that would be boring and stupid?

"3. You fail to understand the skill with which CLV has mastered lighting effects. Why don't you go to some game where things are obscured more?"

What skill is needed to produce render after render with hardly ever any desernible shadows? Ever heard of immersion breaking?

"4. Minor errors, thanks for pointing it out."

No, it demonstrates laziness. Just like in one his previous games you had dialog lines about it being cold while you see a render or a blazing fireplace. Or his laziness not to notice that it isn't layer but lawyer. Reminds me of a previous game of his where there was a glaring spelling error in the very first line of text which was still there after about a dozen updates.

"5. You haven't figured out how to play the games efficiently. You should be embarrassed."

Sure mate, if that makes you feel better. It's just a me problem, me being stoopid. Just like all those on this forum and other forums that point out that the story, or what should pass for it, is internally inconsistent, and that the game is so efficient that the dev has to clarify what needs to be done to trigger something or that he needs to provide saves because certain events are so RNG that they hardly ever trigger or tend to bug out.

6. Some players are like you and can't figure out how to play efficiently. CLV is kind enough to take time out of his production schedule and help them.

If one have to guess because there is no hint or nudge to how to proceed it's not about being efficient or not but about luck and patience. Unlike you most people don't find it rewarding to click methodically on ever possible place over and over and over and over and over again just so to see a render of a girl in a blouse revealing 1 shoulder....and when repeated enough times in the course of real life 30 minutes of clicking having the equivalent of a new render that reveals the other shoulder.
Him being efficient as in putting in a hint system, then removing it, adding a walk thru, ripping it out, putting hints in a place that has a convuluted way to get to and which are not all correct like he did in some of his previous games? Are you talking about that kind of efficiency?

"7. Sounds like you ae hungry for a new episode. Bob's production schedule exceeds that of any other dev, one large update per month, instead of every 3 or 6 months."

Not even factually true because there are plenty of devs that update regularly and with updates that are way more significant in content. Besides the fact that I rather have a dev that has a story to telll and shows his dedication to the product in the quality he delivers in taking his time to deliver an update every 6 months then someone that churns out the same boring old tripe in a monthly drip.

"You should not be making silly comments ....but complimenting him on the immense output he has."

There games on here that I love, others that I like, some that aren't my cup of tea. Now if there is a bunch of people that keep claiming that it's the best ever I check it out. WHEN I then see that not only isn't it my cup of tea. I shrug my shoulders, close it down and delete it.
But when there is technically lots of things wrong, is lacking in all the things that they claim it was soooo good at.... well I tend to take a step back, look at it and point out the things that are factually wrong with it. So in fact, you have yourself and other like you to blame. It's those 5 star reviews and syncophants in the comments that make me take a look at the game, giving it a try, playing a fair chunk of the content. Noticing the obvious spelling mistakes and grammar errors, sure I make them to but I don't charge money for people to read them. Noticing the laziness in the game or the lack of passion to create something or just not having any kind of imagination. Whatever it is, either he should learn and do better or stop milking his marks.

"And get rid of your ridiculous review!"

The most glaring positive reviews you find for this game seems to be on this forum. On other forums the reviews for his games are mostly negative, pointing out the things that I did as reason for their opinions.

"You got one point right and 6 points silly. You lose."

You concided one point and didn't address any of the other in any meaningful way except to say that you think your fanboying is more correct than me pointing out facts.

I lose? Giving a critique is between the one doing the critique and the one the critique is aimed at. You, a 3rd party are nothing more than a bystander. I can't help but find it telling that of your 60 post, 54 are either in defence of games by this dev. or praising this dev. The other 6 are for a game that got abandoned 2 years before your first post. In other words, the only games you are invested in are Celavie's?
To be honest I was in doubt that you were a throll. Your reply here just prove it.
