There are a lot of drama in the game, but good drama, not the "i have an antagonist that wants to screw my life". Real drama. Abusive fathers, alcoholic fathers, terminal illness, bullying, family members being killed by drunk drivers, self steem issues and a lot more

The thing is the story is written well enough that you dont need to be drown in all that drama to be there

Almost all of that stuff is background, though. You don't see someone being abusive to anyone, you don't see alcoholism in the game, the terminal illness is cured almost immediately upon being introduced, the bullying is largely over by the time you join the story, etc. The self esteem issues are certainly there, but just having them, and working through them with someone's help doesn't feel like drama to me.

This is all of course just my opinion, but the game feels pretty drama free to me.

You dont see the abusive behaviour, but the entire game is about the characters dealing with it. The bullying is kind of over, but not so much, actually Tanja bullies Yvonne in front of you.

The big drama is not so much as the events itself, but how the characters deal with the consequences that those leave.

Honestly, i think there are deeper and better drama than in most of the games on this site. Sure, everything gets resolved in time, since its the narrative of the game, but the drama is real.

This is just my biased opinion but I think making solo paths is a waste of time, with how much of the game needs to be rewritten and rerendered to fit the solo paths in, so in my opinion that time could be better used for progressing MNM after all rendering in DAZ takes more time than using HS or even the mentioned MNF sequel.

A comment regarding the solo paths: They will be something that will take a long time to be released. Let's say I'm gonna make a Lucy solo path. It will be completely different from the main game, seperated from everything else. Think of a scenario where MC doesn't sleep at home for the first night and goes to a hotel and Lucy decides to show up and talk to him. Things like that. I didn't really think all of this through yet but if I work on them at some point in time it won't be nearly as much focus/work as I'm putting into My New Memories at the moment, for example.

LET ME SAY TO YOU DEAR SIR!! take your time even if it will take a real goddam time and make another what if story. i think we hit something which you do not intend to share this detail to us at first maybe in the future after the full chapters and a compiled chapter of the main story is finished?. (*spoiler for the solo paths) i would definitely and gladly take that TANJA ROUTE and YVONE ROUTE best side characters ever!!!!

Nothing personal with the facepalm but I have no meme of Lucy looking pissed and too busy to make up one just for your deep love of Tanja. To me she's a worthy pet not a worthy gf.

All bullies should suffer, those that do it "just because" should suffer longer. Out of all the beautiful, loving , and caring women you pick that?

All joking aside, you guys don't realise how much like Lucy. While not quiet obsessed, she is the most important character for me. No idea if it applies to dudes but I was almost full Tsundere on her. Lucy put me off this game, When I first looked at it my thoughts would have been something along the following "Ohh this looks nice, nice tags, but oh monster girl, eh I don't want that [beep], hopefully I can just skip her". To now when she's not only my favourite but I briefly wanted to quit the game for good because Killer stopped the "little cat time" before breakfast, shaking it up with other girls. But as the saying goes, that like cutting of you noise to spite your face.

Honestly a solo route for Tanja is probably the one that makes the most sense to me. MC keeps his relations with his fellow tenants patreon approved but still breaks her for what he did to his fellow tenant but is then free to date her without a betrayal of Lucy.

But it's all speculation and wishful thinking, Killer has far more important things to think about and work on before doing the solo routes.

I agree so far. Lucy is for me one of the best written characters in this VN. In general, my personal order is:
1. Lucy
2. Alice and Fiona
3. Sandy and possible Maddie
