Almost all of that stuff is background, though. You don't see someone being abusive to anyone, you don't see alcoholism in the game, the terminal illness is cured almost immediately upon being introduced, the bullying is largely over by the time you join the story, etc. The self esteem issues are certainly there, but just having them, and working through them with someone's help doesn't feel like drama to me.There are a lot of drama in the game, but good drama, not the "i have an antagonist that wants to screw my life". Real drama. Abusive fathers, alcoholic fathers, terminal illness, bullying, family members being killed by drunk drivers, self steem issues and a lot more
The thing is the story is written well enough that you dont need to be drown in all that drama to be there
This is all of course just my opinion, but the game feels pretty drama free to me.
