In fairness, I totally agree that the first chapter or so is a little... suspect, gramatically/syntactically. But do keep in mind that English isn't K7's first language and this was his first game. There's actually a few retcons that need to be addressed too, so I totally agree that a pass needs to be done. However, I also think that it's worth it to press on, as K7 improves vastly as time goes on, and if a pass does happen, it should be after the game has finished (perhaps as a side-project while still planning out the sequel).

I have to give him some credit - if English isn't his first language, he's done a fair job here. There were never any lines where I struggled to understand what was being said or that jumped out as 'Engrish'. The dialogue was a bit simplistic at times, but I think what I found most off-putting was the overuse (and misuse) of ellipses. I do agree that it would be wise to wait until he's finished the game, but it would definitely benefit from replacing and/or removing most of them.

The game is almost done. We are at chapter 17 split into two downloads.
Killer said he might add those two parts together for a PC release.
If and when that happens a rework of the dialogue might happen but I wouldn't count on it.
My New Memories, Killers other game is also worth checking out.

Hello there you wonderful and extremely cute people!
Another week, another month, another progress update!
First, happy 4th July to all the people in ( or from ) the USA! Hope you guys will have nice celebrations over there!
I decided to take a break from creating characters in Honey Select 2 and did a bit of writing for Chapter 18 of My New Family, since both of my pcs were busy rendering stuff. I think this update will ease a lot of minds that were scared the game might end "too soon" or in the wrong way. I can promise you that even if My New Family ends, it will only lead to a new ( and better ) beginning in My New Family 2. Just think about all the new girls you will meet ( and all the cute little ginger cat girls you might get with Lucy... )
Now, My New Memories. If you are a Sabrina or higher tier supporter, join the discord to grab the latest Beta! It released on the 29th, which also means that if you are a Sarah ( or Anna ) supporter, you can grab Beta 1 from the discord. The feedback for both of those betas have been amazing so far and the most comments I got were how emotional those two days have been ( especially the 2nd one ). I already finished one of the animations and I will begin rendering 2 more today. Like I said a few times by now, I want to do "More" with the animations in My New Memories, giving you new angles and of course, more lewd dialogues to go along with the scenes. I want to show you more as well. What this means is that I will also try out new camera angles where it fits. So while I will usually go for the PoV shot ( where the camera is basically MC's head ) I might also go for a different approach depending on the position they are currently making love in. What I mean by that is...Well, you will see on the 2nd day. Let's just say you will get to see the very attractive behind of a certain german girl that has dimples above her butt. You know who I mean. This day will have 6 animations in total, and I will have at least 2 more animations on the second day with a girl you might not have expected to get "lewded" yet. Let's just say she is a big fan of your work and certainly showed that she has a crush on you...That is all up to you, of course, because you can decide if you want to see her or not. Todays render is Sabrina talking very energetic with the MC about something regarding Bethany. After that conversation you might think that Sabrina and Anna have more in common than you thought...
And I think thats it for this week. Don't forget that there are two betas available now, depending on your supporter tier, so if you are interested in getting a sneak peek of the first or first and a second day of Chapter II...Okay, I don't want to sellout anymore. Thank you guys so much for the continuing support, even with the slower update times. This last week has been very productive though, and I think this week will be as well!

Aww... I hope there's enough left before the end for Elaine, Becca, and Mary to get their fair share of the remaining content. (My favorite characters always seem to end up neglected, no matter what VN it is.)

Well consider that we are approaching ( not reaching yet) the end of MNF 1 only though, not the end of the story for our beloved characters.
There will be lots of time for them in MNF 2 too, and also can't wait to see the babies all of them will gift to the MC, it will be pretty awesome in my opinion.
I just hope that all the girls that were in My New Family 1 will be in 2. I am going for FULL HAREM ROUTE, EVERY SINGLE GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Well consider that we are approaching ( not reaching yet) the end of MNF 1 only though, not the end of the story for our beloved characters.

It seems to me, or is there really a discrepancy here? children at 4 years old do not go to school. they go to kindergarten. they go to school from the age of 7 (or is it different in your area? By the way, how old do children go to school in America?) Yeah, I found it - from the age of 5. this is a zero grade or "kindergarten" - but 4 years is the age when the mother left the MC and he would go to the zero grade at 5 years old. inconsistency!!! or I ask the author of clarifications - in what area did this all happen?

Some people also refer to things like daycare as school as well. Especially if the daycare is a part of, or affiliated with, a school.

Kindergarten IS school. It's basically the grade before 1st grade. It's usually in the same building as the rest of elementary school (which is generally grades 1-5 or 1-6, depending). Americans generally start Kindergarten at age 5 and 1st grade at age 6 (give or take, there are exceptions).
But in the US there's also "Pre-K", which is earlier than Kindergarten. Or other "early start" types of classes (when I was a kid, I went to something called "Pep" for about a year, which was basically Pre-K). And there's literally something called "preschool", which is designed to get kids ready for actual school. So plenty of kids may start school when they're 4 (I did) or even younger (I know kids who were in classes as young as 3).
On top of which, plenty of people (especially kids themselves) may refer to certain types of daycare as "school" even if it isn't.
And all of that is ignoring the fact that we're talking about a fictional porn VN universe, where any number of things clearly work differently than they do in the real world.

the house where Mary and her daughter live. Seriously? and this house in uk? it's a nightmare, a house of glass. you're tormented to heat it. Or does the plot of the novel happen NOT in the UK? palm trees, let's say, grow in the UK (I specifically checked - they even exist in Scotland), but given the climate, such a house has a real ruin. in winter, it is simply impossible to live in such a glass house. So what country does the action take place in? Well, I would still believe if it was California or something in those latitudes. There is heat and heating for the house is not very necessary. but if this is the UK - then - the author, why did you offend the girls so much? why let them live in such a house? they are constantly cold go. change a few bytes in the game resources, let them live in a decent warm house for the UK. don't be mean! I'm just scared for the girls. just in case, girls who are cold usually have problems with childbearing. you know it? and you intend to put these girls in my harem? And why do I need them so cold there? treat them permanently? no, then I don't need them so sick, take them for yourself and treat them yourself =) and give me other healthy girls! living not in a glass freezer.
