P.S guys, BON released the first bug fix for version 2.0 yesterday. Has it been updated on the OP?

Im torn about this game, it does have some good looking models and scenes BUT it seems like the game itself is just 1 big pile of bugs/glitches/errors. Feels like if you dont follow the walkthrough word for word you WILL end up with a broken save file and you will have to start over, and then it begs the question why even play the game to begin with if Im forced to look at a walkthrough to play it. I would much prefer to just play the game and enjoy myself BUT you cant do that with "My New Life" because if you try to play your own way guess what? Broken quest for you!
Heres and example: Did you know that if you dont do the Maria password PC quest before day 30 you will break Maria's questline forever. I had to find this out the hard way because turns out you have to find maria on the beach and talk to her or you wont progress her questline, I also found out that you need to play your console game at 19:00 or her story wont progress either. You see what I mean, its just little stuff like that and the game never tells you what to do, its basically says "here ya go fap and enjoy!" no direction, no tips, no questlog, no directive.
It just seems to easy to ruin your playthrough by natural mistake and the game doesnt really invite playing your own way, I just hate how dependent the game relies on the walkthrough to actually play the game correctly. So now everytime I go to play "My New Life" I also have to boot up a pdf file just so I dont fuck up my playthrough and at this point it feels more like a hollow fap I gotta work towards rather than an enjoyable porn game experience.

Wow.. You're such a Sherlock, however you don't need a walkthrough in 85% of the cases, unless you just skip all the text in-game, then yeah, gl finishing quests without walkthrough. BON never said he was a programmer, on his patreon it says he's an artist, so stop complaining, you're playing this game for free, otherwise you wouldn't be complaining here, but on his patreon page
Also some bugs have been fixed by Firebane, if you install his mod, you avoid some annoying bugs. Btw, you can play your own way, after you do 3-4 quests, so I don't see a problem there
P.S: Only use cheat on money, save often, read in-game text and either stop whining like a bitch or stop playing the game

And secondly you do need a walkthrough given that if you even look at this thread like 40% of the comments are asking for saves or walkthroughs because the game doesn't do that good of a job telling you what you need to do next specifically, it doesn't tell you some things sometimes but the game breaking bugs and quests are usually found and save files need to be edited/reloaded alot because it wasn't explained better the first time around. Firebane mod shouldn't be needed on a independent game that gets its own bugfixes, you only mess things up by modding an unfinished product.

The Developer is constantly coming out with new versions/fixes and the mod only works for specific versions so that doesnt help players who play when new versions are released since mod is at 1.9v and this is now 2.0v fix 1 so mod is currently incompatible/useless for me. You dont speak for everyone here so you need to stop ACTING like you are the voice of this game's playerbase, you are only 1 small person. Goodbye

If you change her relationship to 50 in Dad's quest, you must change back the value to 15 or 23, i think that is your problem.

If you saw Marcus bang the principal and after that you visit him to his home, then Beth's quest bugged, look for solution in the Main Quests Walkthrough linked in first page.
