keep in mind that the stepmom becomes a decent person soon as you play the game, the stepsister Amy, after some problems with stealing, MC almost died in a car accident, and her pregnancy, she becomes a stepsister who calls MC "Master" like the classic acid criminal bitchy stepsister who becomes submissive like a slave (but with like 25% more freedom)

Can't say I'm the biggest fan of the character personality changes, but I've enjoyed this game enough that I'm willing to see where Beggar takes it. As for everyone upset that the revamp happened in the first place we've literally known it was coming for months now and the patrons voted for it so it is what it is. The only thing I'm worried about now is this thread inevitably following the course of Summmertime Saga's where it's just a bunch of people arguing as to whether or not the dev is milking the game because he's giving the patrons what they asked for.

I think begger needs to finish the old game before doing a revamped version ... v 2.1 had a bug or two but it was playable from what I have read here the revamp is too buggy the play hate that I may pass on this game ...I want a playable game not something that may lock-up ,freeze up or just too buggy to play ... may check out this game in a month or so just to see if they can get a playable revamped game...

Like I said in my first post after I realized it got revamped, I am not against a revamp as I didn't know what caused it, if it was due to something technical it's fine !!!
However if it's just because Patreons didn't like the original story and wanted it to be darker and making the MC more a loser at the beginning, than I'm sorry, but that is something that is going to tick people off, Patreons or not... No one likes devs that don't stick to their vision, and instead let others that are giving him money dictate the direction of the game... Usually towards shittier territory..

so far i think the changes are interesting and that this version should be given a chance. my only gripe is the interface needs a bit of working on. especially the computer and the phone. I know this game doesn't really hold your hand in terms of quest hints etc... but the way the hints are currently implemented feels a bit clunky and unintuitive. otherwise i personally like the change in story so far. after finishing the first version its nice to have a new bone to bite into.

ehy guys, do you remember the scene where Marie caught MC and Rachel, doing stuff in an alley? Now Marie caught MC(ruffied/asleep bc of drugs) and the family's maid Isabel, and yet she accuses MC to being consesual in receiveing blowjob from an hispanic maid while he was fucking asleep!
EDIT: And you can defend the maid, or not, nothing change.
At first she had a reason to be mad(sexual activities in public, you end in jail for a couple of days somewhere and somewhere else you must pay a fine) but now it's your fault if you get "raped" while asleep bc of drugs

A tutorial would be nice (how to use phone by pressing W, where to go, what to do etc...) and a bit o polishing i feel is necesssary. Shouldn't be able to enter the bathroom if a girls is already in there. kinda breaks the immersion.

Nah this is still Beggar's vision for his project. Patrons just asked for the revamp so any story changes happened because Beggar wanted it to. For better or worse this is the course the game is going now.
I think Beggar said that the revamp as for 3 things, rework the game system, rework the story and rework the earlier scenes.
sarah and christian's interactions just sound like set up for the mc to cuck christian later. interesting in knowing how the other girl who was dating him or w/e is working now tho. the story was always pretty dumb so mike being more a pushover doesn't really bother me it will still develop into the wish fulfillment we all crave anyway

I've been on this site a while ( I guess awhile is only October.... damn it feel like longer!) and have never written a single post. This revamp is making me come out of the shadows to say this...
Why? I loved this game now it seems like it's the same fucking game with a slightly different story that I have to painfully grind through? again?
