It is being said here that Demi is redeemed in this update. And then it must be me alone that after seeing what happened during many, many, many dp scenes with Demi it is impossible for me to even remotely consider her a Li. I think the broken mind thing is great but those scenes have left her totally ruined like Li. As a companion of the adventure, it can be, but little more. But maybe it's just me.

No, there is an actual plot. The MC and LIs remembering their past is more in the lines of giving background to better understand what's going on with the plot and to paint the scale of the story — something spanning millennia. There are many scenes cutting away from the MC and even sometimes away from his LIs to explain what's going on, what action happens at the same time, etc. In some ways it's kind of like Star Wars in the scene-cut style.

Still, where I can somehow tolerate the rape scene with Karen becauser she couldnt do anything against it and MC was busy doing other stuff, I hope the guy still got a painful death, but when I hear the the other LI gots her brain fucked out and she liked it, its a lost cause for me. It depens on personal taste if people will forgive her but from what you said it dosent sound as a good excuse for these scene.
i don't see how star wars became the reference of change of perspective and flashback ...
and i'm not realy convinced by this anwser when the couple last comments are all about how one of the girls is saved by remembering her past live T_T

It WILL be a bit of a spoiler but it isn't as bad as you think.
Basically her soul is split in 2 and she doesn't know who she is. Him and a few of his LI's are reincarnations and need to save his people from the hell dimension they are trapped in. Demi is a badass earrior woman but hasn't got her memories back so when she's kidnapped she starts to fall apart and forgets who she is.
She does get fixe and it's all resolved this update.
As for the guy that raped Karen...
One of his LI's is a succubus that can shapeshift, she gets into his cell and kills him.

I dont know man. From your previous recommendation I should give it a try when you said the whole fucked up shit is "fixed" now. But this whole negative stuff kinda dosent outweight the good stuff for me, at least from what I read.
Because it sounds like the authour/dev didnt know what he was doing and added it into the game and after the backlash he tried to fix it.
I didnt played it but I must agree if one of the LI gets ravaged in ecstasy for 9 months by someone else and MC is banging hookers, I would hate the MC too. Perhaps in future updates when more good stuff is added I will give it a try.
But once again thanks for your detailed explenation. You know how we are when it comes to this NTR stuff

Ok, completed the chapter. I am happy we got Demi back, I'm fine with how things ended. I am & will always be unhappy about that 5 months our MC wandered around like a toolbox, when he should been scouring for her, instead of banging more random chicks.
But that's fine, I hope to see more of the story going forward, I really wish the assault to rescue Demi was like fully 3d animation. Though my imagination did fill in a lot of that for me. There are some grammatical/spelling errors, though I am sure folks will point those out and they can be fixed, beyond that I'm cool with how things are going now.

Part of me wants to play it but another part of me is cautious about trying it again because of the way it was handled, but I'll probably give it another go and if I still can't get past the way it was done at least I can say I gave it a shot.

The problem is that because the game is released in chapters we don't see the conclusion for a long time so we're left to stew with what was happening in game.
The Demi thing needed to reach it's conclusion so she could get her memory back of her original self (her before the reincarnation) were she was the badass warrior and one of those at the head of the MC's army.
The dev has always given zero fucks about backlash. It's one of the reasons he doesn't bother with this place. It's pretty much a caser of he's going to tell his story his way and we decide if we want to play or not.
Gets better as it goes along.

The Star Wars mention was only about the scene-cut style, where you jump from one set of characters to another and then again to another, often all happening at the same time. For instance, in The Empire Strikes Back, you jump from Luke on Dagobah to Cloud City. Here, though, the transitions are not only different locations but also different dimensions. There also are scene transitions that are similar, like periscope transitions (where a small circle grows until it becomes the new scene). That's all I meant by that. I was not saying this game is like Star Wars in any other way.
So a part of the plot — remembering past lives and being saved from a bad situation — means that the game can't have a larger overall plot? The latest discussion has been about what happened to some characters in the game recently (i.e., the last 3 chapters), but that's not the primary plot of the game. It was a longer sub-plot, but it's not the main plot.
This isn’t a bug, it is because you previously used the patch which renamed the character (name variable was changed for the title) but the patcher rewrites all of the code line by line so it merges the new name for the top of the text box but not within the text. Pretty sure the base game you can’t change your name it was a part of the patch.
