I have tried doing a bait-and-switch where I start a game making sure the ipatch is active, then loading my save game from there, but even then the ipatch doesn't load.

I have a strange issue with the ipatch. It works when starting a new game, but if I load a save game, it doesnt work. I have absolutely no idea why this would be happening. Does anyone else have this, and if so is there a solution besides just starting a new game every time and using "rabbit mode" to get back to where you were?

Are you playing the Steam version? The only ipatch I found that works with this game is the one on the Scrappy walkthrough mod page. There is a link to the mod on the OP. I just installed the patch and not the Mod and it worked fine for me.
