As much as I hated the ending and wished Sumodeine had made multiple endings for different girls I would still recommend playing the game as it is enjoyable! Like I said just don't be expecting the fairy tale ending unless your only interest is with Molly
Well fuck me this game ended way quicker than I expected.
While, I know that Nikki was not likely (or never) going to be a LI but I was still routing for her and MC even if it was just as a side piece. While I acknowledge that a brother-sister path wasn't likely going to happen but I still couldn't see it not happen either especially if the incest patch wasn't used then Nikki is just a long time friend (so why couldn't this have worked?).
Personally, I think the ending was just too abrupt and could easily have carried on for a little while longer and was seriously disappointed in not having a MC + Nikki ending.

I agree but these days the dev's pamper to Patrons wishes and could easily have been added as an option. While dev's have the final say in their games; they can and most usually do change plans throughout a games life span.
And in the case of a MC + Nikki ending I think a lot of people wanted this but dev, I feel, just didn't care.
This was one of the reasons I think this game ended way to quick and I felt mom was interested in MC and it could have happened.

Dev had a story to tell and told everyone upfront how it was going to go.
It's not a case of not caring it's a case of him wanting to tell his own story. There are more devs that don't change their mind now like Becoming a Rockstar, that has no incest despite people wanting a route for the sister yet Jet has said he isn't budging on that. Retrieving the Past had a similar thing with the daughter but aren't interested in going the incest route.
The dev wanting to tell the story he set out to tell isn't the same as not caring. Expecting the dev to change his story to suit them is so far beyond entitled....
Did people honestly expect Sumo to change his entire story just to suit them despite being told many, many, so fucking many, times it was never happening?

according to my experiments, the bad ending happens if you pick the "go for it" when Nikki asks you at the end of previous update.
thanks i just went back couple saves and instead going to the professor i went to the beach and denied having sex with cory as it says "stay faithful" so i assume that was major points there and refuse other girls after that but i still did the "go for it" with nikki and molly didnt call me a cheater anymore lol

[B]Avaron1974[/B] would it really have been so hard to implement 'something' to please the fan base that the dev has built up through this game? I mean i'm not looking for a slanging match but couldn't this affect how popular any future releases could be as from i have seen since the dev released this final version there is a lot of people that have stuck with the game and become very disappointed not only in the way the story ended but by feeling that anything they have said has been ignored and they probably feel let down. Yes it's the devs right to stick to there guns on how its panned out but still what's wrong in giving your fans what they want? Anyway no amount of bitching and moaning can change anything now.

Nope. Even if you do that you can still be with Molly, you just have to not have sex with anyone else after you become boyfriend/girlfriend with Molly. That means no threesome with Cory and Chelsea (which, for some reason, results in them not becoming Olympic gold medalists in volleyball), no sex with Ashley when being taken hostage, no sex with Chelsea on the beach, and no threesome with Jessica and D'Brickashaw.
You can fuck anyone you want before becoming official, but don't fuck anyone after that.

Dev said from day 1 what was going to happen, if anyone thought any differently then that's on them.
They knew what the dev had said they knew he had said he wasn't changing his plans shit I even spent months on this forum telling people it wasn't going to happen.
Like I said, less and less devs are changing their plans to suit their "fans". They want to tell their own stories.
Like I said, you were all told what was going to happen, you all had the option to stop at any time. If anyone expected a different outcome then that's on them, they had plenty of warning.
Sumo even said multiple times that anyone expecting a Nikki ending should avoid the last update.

Well it looks like i have to go figure this one out. I really wanted to get in her pants. Seeing as i was spoiled that Molly's the only real option here, i hope this doesn't mess it up.
This part below isn't directed at you or anyone, more just my take.
This nikki thing, as i keep seeing it, is kind of weird for me as i was never in that camp. Nikki was annoying for me from what i remember and if i had the option, i would've never been involved with her and this was before i even knew she wasn't an LI option. After finding out she wasn't one, i was actually ok with it. As far as I was concerned, since it was somewhat intended, she was just a sex toy and nothing more for me in my opinion.
Only women i was ever interested in outside of lust was Molly and Sarah(before i knew she wasn't a option). Ashley too as well but she's crazy af.

Well that's the devs right like I said but in my own opinion a very poor way on keeping "fans" coming back for anything else created in the future. Maybe one day someone in years to come will do something with it to give people what they really want lol

Do you really think Tales and Nikki could get married, have a family and all that stuff? no way Jose. Best case scenario, Tales would've served time in the slammer and had a restraining order forbidding him to even get at handshake distance. No happy ending. That part gave the player control over Nikki's future, the player could be a selfish prick denying her happiness, and the fact sh even went through with that ment how much Nikki cared about Tales. So the good ending we are offered is the best that could happen. And seriously, Nancy didn't allow Tales to have sex with his girlfriend, do you think she would be fine with him fucking Nikki? Nope.
But let's move on to the good stuff.... Molly.... Molly is life, Molly is life. From the start she was the only one besides Nikki that our lying MC could be honest with, form an emotional connection, have common interests and just wish for a white fence and a dog named Spot. It also seems they lived in households with similar worldview and values. I rarely use the word soulmates but it fits Tales and Molly to the Y. And that's levels above roommates.... Sure Molly is a slowburn, but once she got started, Tales was highfiving the angels. And Sumo knew it would be this way and perhaps that's why Tales got some unavoidable sex so players wouldn't be turned off by lack of sex scenes. It is funny you should mention RTP since there was originally a lot more LI for Jensen but dev pampered to Patron demands and changed the story. While I commend Sumodeine for sticking to his guns the point I am making is that games can and do change from the original vision of the developer.
And what, and this just my own opinion, Sumodeine has done here is just rushed the game ending and only really given you one possible ending (OK, two - depending on Molly interest) when there could have been many more - especially, when MC spent time developing other relationships.
