I honestly think Sudo should have moved on to his next game... Yes a lot of people were giving slightly bad reviews due to it... but its his first game, he should have took it as a learning opportunity, and made a better second game instead.
Even now with the new endings, people are still complaining if there arent endings with the girl they "wanted"... I was always in Molly's camp anyway, and the only others I would have cared about were Skylar and Sarah (I got that right ? Nikki's beach bar friend ?)... The tomboy gym-sock, Sollain, and Jessica who went black and never came back, were "meh" to me. Obviously Nikkster and the Mom werent going to get endings at all, so people need to get the hell over that.
Anyway I will just keep my original completed version, as to me thats the "pure" version, the one Sudo intended before he caved in to all the negative backlash.

The problem weren't the slightly bad reviews, the problem was that even a lot of patreons were giving a backlash because of the ending, not unreasonably I might add, from a writing POV, the story haven't fit the format. Sure you had the ending you wanted anyway so it's easy to act high horsed about it, but otherwise you wouldn't let it slide either.
If anything, the fact that Sudo manned up, admitted his mistake, and decided to fix it instead of leaving for his next project was the right move. There are times when listening to the community feedback is a good thing, this was one of those. It allows you to restore the trust he lost because of the whole ending riot, and won't make him "the guy that created that shitty ending" when he works on his next project. And this is important, since creating a VN as an indie, relies heavily on the community support, unlike when you present a finished product and people will get into or not.

Even if you liked the previous endings, and I don't think they were bad, this version of the game is simply better. There is a massive expansion on the three month time skip which was one of the biggest issues in the game as it stood. If you are a molly guy you get more scenes with her, if you liked cory, more scenes with her as well. Nikki no longer becomes a cat lady (which was an odd choice anyway) if she ends up solo, and you get a much better introduction of her alternate love interest for those who didn't want to end up with her.
Plus I think it shows a caring about his patrons as well. He didn't 180 on the game either, it's still the same as it ever was, but with more options, and a more fleshed out story.
I really don't think people understand how much he added.

You should play it again, even if you go for the same ending, the writing has been tweaked and a lot of the early renders have been improved.
There is a new walkthrough that was released yesterday but it's only for patrons. It's on the $1 tier if you fancy it
Play it and see! It wouldn't be fair to others who haven't played it yet to spoil the endings. There are now nine afterall!

Don't forget the title of this game, it attracted a lot of incest fans who IMO righteously questioned why the Sis can't be romanced. I bet that getting tired of incest games and not making an incest game made him have a tunnel vision, hence the previous crappy endings. The Cuck Simulator game couldn't be not a cucked/cucking centered or even Sisterly Lust its obviously not about sex with a mailwoman.
At least Sumo realized what he was doing wrong with the ending and some parts of the story.

How is he moaning about it? The guy did his biggest update EVER to expand on the rushed endings and give more options than Molly AND add Nikki and Cory options as well as others.
The original game wasn't exactly Molly or nothing either, there was an overblown bad one for cheating on Molly, but there was also an ending of Taylor living his life trying to find out what he wanted. It wasn't a standard ending but it wasn't bad. Where the game had issues before was in the rush to conclusion and the fact that Nikki became an LI when he didn't really ever intend her to be.

Well, the conversation between Nikki and Taylor as they return for Christmas make it quite obvious he feels discontent over being "pressured" into altering the ending. And as I said, I'm perfectly fine with him keeping the original ending, or releasing this update to give the player further options. His reaction to it felt silly though. AND I never pushed for Nikki ending, it didn't really make sense that there wasn't one though. That's just my opinion, it's perfectly fine to disagree.
