How can someone be so completely oblivious of everything flirty a female says? Maybe it's different for everyone but I don't see how when a girl gives you her number...or say she's excited for dessert looking flirtatious, you don't immediately pick up what she's putting down.
Furthermore...he's also a pretty big douche. Maybe it touches back on the oblivious thing but I'd rather stay in for a snuggle session with a girl I know loves me than to go chase some other girl.

I disagree, she showed signs of jealousy and also had at least 3 sex scenes with the protagonist. 2 of which came after they both agreed not to have sex again. If you follow her route you can see she's starting to get interested from the moment you watch her take a guy to the room, and then again after masturbating to porn together. Even if she's not a love interest at least she gives a good fuck, then I wouldn't care and end the game happily anyway.
