Well, IF something bad really happened, I don't know if mourning would stop someone from writing an update to fans. I think, that he doesn't want to make his personal problems public.

I don't know the guy, obviously, for me he is some anonymous creator whos creation I am a big fan of, but since we speculate on this thread for 3 months already...

I think she is not dead, so he is not mourning, but taking care of her and the uncertainty of the siruation makes it difficult to make concrete statements. Btw, for some it would be a way to vent and talk to fans about it, for others privacy is way more preferable .

There has been hundreds of comments here saying these exact phrases "family comes first, take all the time you need", but whilst I agree, come on, this goes without saying.

We are all different and react differently to severe trauma, I've tasted both ends personally.
The "average" kind - Where its hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel and on some days that light doesn't exist, but in the end you find it after weeks or months.
The "extreme" kind - I dropped absolutely everything in my life - family, work, friends, colleagues, acquaintances and pretty much didn't speak to another human being for around half a year. Still carry the luggage of it 10 years later but at least the light in the tunnel is visible now.

He is not defrauding people, and people are free to leave him as a customer if they feel this has been unacceptable, but please think twice on judging how other people handle severe trauma and rather leave in peace. Speak with the wallet, not the mouth.

Sorry, but what are you talking about? Take it easy, I wasn't talking about you, I don't even know you, this quote is my first interaction with you, I believe, so don't take it personally. And please, don't be offended. I know that most people on the internet take offence from almost anything, which is not even targeted at them. I try not to be offended by stuff, but it happens to me too. And I am not being passive aggressive, I hope, I mean it.

And besides, I acknowledged the fact, that people are different and even that my guess might be wrong (it's a guess for a reason). If you didn't take it out of context, it would make sense. If you accuse me of being one of the people who think that Pandelo is doing some scam, then you are wrong. There has been a ton of misconception of other's motives in this thread, and I am also sometimes probably guilty of that... I don't know... but you really mistook mine. My guess is, that the lack of updates is caused by uncertainty of the future, and there is still hope for his mother. I know it's ridiculous to talk about this, to make up stories and speculations about someone whom we don't even know by name, but it's a pirate semi-anonymous forum for porn games. It's supposed to be a ridiculous place.

Btw, this one is actually directed towards you personally: Hey, sorry for the long post, but I don't want to make you feel like your experience means nothing. You are more than entitled to be human, so you are more than entitled to love someone, to mourn a loss, and to basically feel for yourself and others. It should go without saying and you don't need my validation, but it looked like I should address it. You gave me an example of what happened to you, and I can sympathise, because I had deaths in the family, and I can relate to something concrete. With Pandelo's case, those are only guesses and speculations on a pirate forum, they don't mean anything except of being a part of a conversation.

Thank you @Synnerai . Originally I misread and misinterpreted your post and felt a need to speak in (potential)defense of Pandelo, then came back a short while later to reread it and realized. Because of that I quickly changed the subject to unspecific in the hopes it wouldn't come off as too directed at you and logged off.
Apologies for that, would've probably been better to delete it once I realized the mistake.

I think it's in poor taste for us to speculate on his mothers condition, what we do know is that she did have a heart attack, which is a fairly serious thing. So whatever happened from there required from him to take the time off the game and take care personal matters. He even halted patreon so i honestly see no problem here. He is not in a legal contract with us or anyone else and he is forced to make his game, any developer out there can just walk away from a game mid development and not even give us any reason to do so. That would be shitty obviously, for instance i think what the dev of Familly Matters is doing for the 3rd or 4th game now is extremely shitty of him but again it's his right to do it and it's up to his patreons if they will learn the lesson or not.

This is obviously a different case and if Pandelo has decided that he either needs more time to take care of things or has just outright decided no longer to do this that is his right and unlike some other devs i see nothing really shitty about it.

As i have said to some people before, if it bothers you this much to remain in suspense checking back at the thread every few days hoping for a word from him, hoping for an update you are just gonna end up feeling more and more frustrated. So instead just consider the game already abandoned. Just think of it, personal things happened and Pandelo moved on from making this game, you will feel a lot easier. And if some day he does come back, treat it as a miraculous turn of events but until then it's best just to write off the game entirely, then to frustrate yourself like this. It's almost been 3 months without a word guys, you coming here being frustrated about it, isn't gonna change anything about the fate of the game.

Now playing Triangle and cannot help but notice parallels between that and MSN. While Triangle is an excellent story with top notch graphics, I realize that it is the little kicks, the sneak escapades of MSN that makes it so amazing

played also both games, you're right. And hopefully we'll get someday an update of MSN. Hope dies last. :cry:

Why are people so quick to turn on games/devs? I don't quite get the logic.

I mean if you love the game, you want it to continue.

If you don't like the game, well then you don't care.

I just start playing yesterday and just finished the current version. This easily become one of my most favorite game. It's so sad that I only discover this game when its on hold state. As least the creator promise he will definitely continue working on the game and not just left without saying a word so there is hope yet.
