It's probably best if you see a bigger picture than just this game. What PGJ has been arguing, not just in this thread, but in many across the site, is the trope is being beaten into the ground. While it's true this game pre-dates many of others with the same themes, it nevertheless must be recognized that 95% of all these games are terribly written with little to no depth. Most of it boils down to laziness followed closely by a lack of talent. Person X wants to make a buck or two, teaches themselves how to make a render or two, slaps a few regurgitated words they've read or heard elsewhere around a plot that they've seen a dozen times already and poof, they're rich. Except, they're not--they fail.

And what's worse, by far, than the lack of talent and passion in creating something truly unique is the acceptance of this sorry state by the masses. Although, once pondered upon, given the ages and life experiences of the average 'player' on this site I suspect I am expecting too much.

In this game, all of the female characters (maybe not Evon) have sex with different characters of different races, almost every different race. White, black, hispanic, Asian (Japanese?), and Indian. The fact that a few of the characters are black does not make this game "My Dev's a Black Cock Lover" which is what he said. Frankly, it's fucking racist and disgusting.

EDIT: If the comment wasn't meant to be racist, then I am all ears and will take back what I said. But to focus on the race of a couple (not even the majority) of the characters, ignoring the others, it appears racist to me.

Having seen PGJ in many threads, I'd say it's not about a black guy being with a white girl. It's more about how so many games always fall to the BBC lover that the LI(s) cheat with and find superior, which is way more racist in my opinion. And I agree in that regard. It's always some dumb, ugly, black guy as the primary antagonist who almost always has the stereotypical black guy names (Darius, Tyrone, Marcus), who is always a thunder dick, who almost always has very little character and everything that makes him "great" is from his sexual prowess... it's just old, tired, and boring.

The racist part is all these games reducing black men to nothing more than meat popsicles. Here comes the BBC...no depth, no soul, no wooing, no romance. Throw in some dick pics and a few "my cock is the best" lines. THAT is what's racist. I can think of only a couple of games on this site where the protagonist is a thoughtful black man. In one of those games the dev created a "light" version and a "dark" version. I can't guess entirely the mind of the dev, but the dark version hasn't been updated in over a year because of all the racist pushback. In a few other games there is a black man as a side kick, but he is often portrayed as gay so as to not threaten anyone.

So the racism exists and is expressed through the trope. The BBC. Make some games with a black man being vulnerable, thoughtful, romantic. Let's see how far that flies on here.
