Can you attach a copy of your player log, please? Use the Windows + R keys and paste the following into the "Run" box:
%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Faerin Games\Mystwood Manor

No. You didn't start from the top of the list. :p
"This is IT... did you turn it off and on again?"
"Are the lights in the room you are in working?"
"Is the device connected to your power supply?"

Gotta admit I am guilty of the second one once at work. Yes, I checked that the monitor which didn't work was plugged in and it was ... plugged into an extension which wasn't plugged in. My IT guy and I are still having a laugh about this. It helps that I am usually the go-to guy for him when testing new setups since I am usually a bit more IT literate than my colleagues so he knows I am not always that stupid. But once every week is monday morning ...

Ok, it doesn't appear that that's causing the problem as that is what we typically recommend to extract the game with. So we can safely rule out 7-Zip as the culprit.

What you could try is moving the game's folder out to C so that the path is C:\Mystwood_Manor_v0.9.2
Then try replaying that event. That should clear up the problem.
