Probably because in my process of troubleshooting I was uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, it wasn't working with the current drivers before I disabled G-Sync as detailed in the attached log

yeah, there must be a problem with the animation. a slide bar appears but sofia does not move and then stucks. i can still move the slider but text does not move

Make sure you've met the requirements according to each of their hints.

Gotta admit I am guilty of the second one once at work. Yes, I checked that the monitor which didn't work was plugged in and it was ... plugged into an extension which wasn't plugged in. My IT guy and I are still having a laugh about this. It helps that I am usually the go-to guy for him when testing new setups since I am usually a bit more IT literate than my colleagues so he knows I am not always that stupid. But once every week is monday morning ...
