first interaction with the game, and its already stuck on "renovate", what a waste of time.

Of course it is possible. However, the game is still an early tech demo and therefore there is no reason to compile and/or release a Mac build yet.

Grind is the opposite of fun.
I hope the easy mode is available soon, but in the current state I had to give up playing out of boredom.
Still, the dev has credit for his former game, so looking forward to the good stuff. The sister looks very good, the mom not so much, she's just ok, especially body wise (I would like a more defined ass, like in MOH. I just love curvy, feminine girls).

Faerin is already aware of that and will have a fix in the next update. The bug appears randomly, but you can get around that by doing another playthrough.

If you've ever played MotH, you'll note that the mapping file was always located in the game's root folder. The same is true in MwM, though there's no preexisting mapping file that exists this time.

You're right, it's much more complicated and I do expect more bugs.
That's why I have extended the test team today, so we can track them more easily before future releases.
I don't expect you'll have to start over a lot, but then again, it is under development and not a finished product (which some people seem to forget). One thing is for sure, I don't add bugs to piss people off
Another thing to consider is that so far there is one minor bug in this release (you can start over and go through the entire intro in about 1.5 minutes by holding down CTRL) in a game with a ton of code and features already.
In my book that means that the test team did a pretty great job, but of course I'm biased.
I do recognize that a large number of the people on here just want porn and are not looking to play an "actual" game.
Personally, I have no interest in making a game like that as to me, it's just not fun to work on.
Luckily, for those players there are a lot of great alternatives on this site and I understand if this is not for them.

This is a known bug in this version and has been repaired for the next version, you are able to click the renovate button twice when doing the lobby so you lose 20k instead of 10k, for now I'm afraid you will have to start again unless you saved the game before the renovation, once you reach this point again just click once and you can continue
