I explained the basic, simple maths quite clearly in my post, that you quoted.Where are you getting 14k in one week when you have only 1 guest. Actually it was 2 quest at total 9,600. It doesn't change the final figures of a daily deficit of 12,357.
Do you not know how many days are in a week?
You said, in your post, that it's 4k for 2 night's stay. So that's 2k per day.
There are 7 days in a week.
7 x 2k =..... *drumroll*.....14k!!!
You then said your staff cost was -$250.
14k - 250 = 13,750.
You start off 50k in debt.
You use 45k, of that 50k, to renovate the rooms.
You have incorrectly added the renovation costs to the debt, giving you circa -95k starting position.
This is where you've got your maths wrong.
If someone lends you $10 & you spend that on something, you still only owe $10. Not $10 + the cost of the item.
Same as here, you only owe $50k. Not $95k.
50k / 13.75k = 3.6 weeks to be able to repay the debt.
There is no "daily defecit".
You operate on a p/l model.
Your income (+14k p/w) is higher than your expenditure (-250 p/w), so you are in profit (+1.96k p/d).
running an average daily loss of $18,339
Glad to see it's dropping, something clearly changed it by 1/3. lolIt doesn't change the final figures of a daily deficit of 12,357.
Anyway, you're not operating at any deficit. You're operating in profit, as shown above.
This profit enables you to repay your debt, with ease, in less than 4 weeks.
