Unity Completed Mystwood Manor [v1.1.2] [Faerin]

That mentioned game was a bit rough for me because of the scenes and flashbacks.

Mystwood is nice change of pace. On Day 14 of my 1st run. Trying to figure out what girls to visit at what time of day. Laura the nurse is an absolute knockout and my favorite already. Just learned about the clothing changes.

All the girls still at 50 hearts. I don't mind not seeing the lewd stuff but the managing is pretty easy once you get enough staff.

Yeah, I only suggested it because I know the MC plays the role of a bodyguard for a model, so figured the protection aspect he was looking for might get met, with that.
Laura's a lovely looking woman! There will be other contenders, vying for your top girl spot, joining your work force once you progress a little.
To see which girl to visit, where & when, check the Progress tab from the Staff menu, then hover over the "i" for the next scene to see what you need to do.

Ah. No wonder why I'm going around in random circles. Much appreciated and yeah Hillside definitely gives me that protective instinct. Started it yesterday. All I want to do is give Charlotte a big hug and shelter all the girls from harm. Not many games I've played do that or have that plotline.

Every once in a while today I got an interface glitch, which made me have to reload a game, but the last glitch that happened, even though I saved it on Day 33 afternoon, I lost the save and it reverted back to day 28, losing a ton of progress.

After 8 hours straight of playing I was pretty PO'd. Took a break after that and will have to redo the progress tomorrow.

Otherwise it's a wonderful game.

I wonder if the dev checks this thread. If they do, if the cook gets sick and a VIP is in the restaurant the scene will show them disappointed that the restaurant is closed but you'll still get credit for serving them.

I tried playing this game last night but every time I did the inner screen during the conversations and explore looked like a pure grey fog. I could see the planning screen and the map outside but all interactions were unviewable. Is this something that is known or is there a fix for it maybe?

Playing on Windows btw.

Download extract the files from the above link into a temporary folder (which you can delete later) and run the included "install_all.bat". Then reload the game.

A Mac version should be available once it's released on Steam, but that may be right around the end of the year.

Wow thanks! Is it going to steam? Hadn't heard that. It feels rare that we see these game to "pro" like that. I know House Party is the only other example I know of that has made it's way there!

Yes, but I'm not exactly sure of the time frame. Though should be right around the end of this year. Faerin has mentioned a possible early release, but it's still too soon in development to do that. He also has his previous game, Man of the House (MotH) on Steam as well as Nutaku.

There has been one confirmed case where the game would randomly glitch or crash after a prolonged period has been played. I experienced that myself while working on the quick guide an update or two back having had the game running for 6 hours straight. Sounds like you're experiencing the same thing. The problem is, there's no way to tell exactly when that will happen or why. But it's something we're looking in to.

You shouldn't be able to place a sick person in any Job in the first place and without a cook you can't place a waitress either.
Do you mean that the cook called in sick when her shift was supposed to start?
Cause that would actually be realistic... the waitress takes the order and serves the food, but the cook prepares it... that's why a cook also gains exp when a customer visits the restaurant afterall

If for credit you mean money, it's normal... only when a guest has 3 failed job demands he/she will leave the hotel without giving you anything. If you have failed only one, it doesn't matter.

Not only is Faerin around from time to time, but also his elves, so mentioning bugs here will usually reach him.

The reason is that Steam can't guarantee sells of Adult games or games with Adult content are ONLY offered to those of legal age.
It's another "we are protecting the net and our youth" game of the politics.
This happens when a conservative government needs to gain points in a year of election.

Generally yes, and I would not have wondered about it at all, if it weren't for the thing that the states mentioned by Steam (Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein) went on record that they did not do anything here, so it is Steam themselves who were in a hurry to stop it. Arguably before restrictions might apply one day - but there are other countries with way harsher regulations on pornography where this doesn't apply. While in Germany there are usually more problems with games containing violence, yet no comparable move has been done there. This is what fazes me a bit. Not having any porn (beyond a certain level, I mean some people were complaining about Mass Effect's side butt) on there wouldn't be astonishing in and of itself at all for the reasons you mention.

Those states also legalized gambling (like Online Casino, etc.) while the rest of the republic still holds a tight grip on it or even outlawed it.
Porn is a nieche when politics tried to take actions against "violent games" a much larger group of people got alarmed... Porn on the other side offered less resistance and the laws were hidden in larger packages
