It's OK, you have already uploaded it and I seen it before this error
I suppose you are running Win7, please try to install this patch, reboot your PC and try again. Please download the right one, because I don't know if your system is at 32 or 64bit

Also keep in mind to update the video driver to latest version

I am assuming that other people are as dense as I can sometimes be: also do not forget when doing their storylines to collect their new outfits in the "progress" tab, otherwise progress will stall.

It's in the root folder for the game.

If you do not have the file present, then your game will display Julia as your Father's girlfriend and Amber as childhood friend.
It's there by default for me, so should be for you, if you've downloaded the current version.

Also: DO NOT delete the "profile" folder if you delete the game files once you've completed this update.
That's where your saves are stored. (y)

I'm sure this has been asked before but are there any plans to somehow minimize the gigantic, mostly opaque text box in the future? All the discussions I've found in this thread about this are from the very first versions of the game where you couldn't yet manually hide it (apparently that's quite hard to code in Unity compared to Ren'Py) but nothing about how obtrusive it still is, regardless of the fact that you can hide it for one render at a time.

Obtrusive text boxes are generally one of my biggest pet peeves in all of these VN's but when it's a Ren'Py game, I just use the greatest tool ever created, but that's of course not an option in a Unity game.

I think it has become especially bothersome and noticeable in these last few updates because we've finally been getting some more steamy stuff and the textbox just constantly hides like 50% of the good stuff, it's pretty annoying.

Pretty sure there is a 'hide ui' button.

Complete their activities, found in the Progress tab, from the Staff menu.
If you hover over the "i" it will tell you what to do.

If you mean their skills, then either make them work at the appropriate job, or send them to the Study to train their lowest skill.
whatever i make them work they does not progress to staff level 5

Yes, this has been requested by a number of Patrons as well.
I'll add an option to change the transparency and/or hide it in the next update.
