Hi everyone, i have a problem - game stuck on main menu, buttons New Game, Continue, Settings doesn`t work. I can`t continue my saves.

Yes. I used cheats for money. I played couple hours yesterday, open all girls, saved the game, but today stuck in main menu, no one button working.

Then it's likely you may have a corrupt save. Move all of your saves out of the MC's folder in "profile", and try loading each one one-save-at-a-time. You'll know if that save is corrupt if clicking on the buttons in the game's main menu doesn't do anything. Then just delete that save. More often than not, it's the auto.sav that gets corrupted, but I would still check each one just to be sure.

Because I remember enjoying MotH back in 2019, I'll give this game a curtsy and start by mentioning its pluses. It's a refreshing change from the endless stream of mechanically-identical Ren'Py porn games. The engine is decently polished and has some actual gameplay to speak of. Visuals are nice, above average, has some sounds, interesting UI, overall it has an unusually high production value & polish for a porn game.
However, I feel cheated by how this game is posed as having an "incest" theme. Unlike in MotH, here this kink is practically non-existent, the dev provided a way to rename Julia > Mom, Amber > sister, etc. and the result is being "sold" here as incest. It's so lame I don't have the words to describe it. It's like replacing every "fuck" said in a Samuel L Jackson movie with "love" and calling the result a romantic drama.
I was so upset I proposed leaving behind the `incest` tag because it's no longer useful to identify games with an actual kinky/pervy incest theme. The curent `incest` tag is slapped willy-nilly even on games that are very superficially connected to incest (e.g. those for whom the dev OBVIOUSLY spent 0 resources to bake in incest and the theme is instead claimed to be (re)added via a mod that's extremely weak) and NOT just on those games that have an incest theme that could reasonably be critiqued as good/bad. If you understand this disfunction and want to see it addressed you can vote here for a new `incest deep` tag (tentative name).

While I certainly agree that the incest kink feels less served, as many other kinks, due to the lack of story if compared to other games, I would argue that thematically it is not "slapped on", since the original setting makes mom/sis to me way more likely than "random woman on daddy's side with another girl". I will grant though that the exploration of consequences and the fear of triggering them is also very low - explained in game with the magic mist, but I agree that it is less satisfying for me than it was in MotH or other games. But I will still argue that it is an incest game.
As for your suggestion in the other thread (never mind that rumor has it tags are being reworked right now anyway) I would argue that there is no objective way to determine what "deep" ("kinky", "pervy") incest would be. The technical view of "just replacing dialogue Geraldine -> Mom" would cover MotH as well, where nothing different happens. The difference is that in MotH the game is clearly geared towards incest and in parts doesn't make much sense when changed to "Landlady & the Tenants" (a psychologist being taken aback by some consenting adults lusting after each other just because she is considerably older?). But that is difficult to grasp and different people will give different answers.

When I filter by `incest` tag and sort by `RATING` or `LIKES`, I would like the top results to have a good/kinky/pervy/in-depth/central incest theme and NOT just some connection to incest that's randomly strong/weak. In the aforementioned list, Mystwood Manor appears #219 by `RATING` and #82 by `LIKES` out of 1972 games. It absolutely doesn't qualify for those very high spots on the `incest` games list.
It strongly seems like incest was setup to appear central in the beginning to avoid losing MotH audience but then the kink was rapidly and dramatically dropped to a very marginal spot, comparable in importance to anal sex. This comparison is actually very relevant for the problem I'm trying to underline. Anal sex is barely present in Mystwood Manor and it's about as vanilla as it gets. Despite this the game appears in the top 10% when doing the same list as before except filtered by the `anal sex` tag. It's the same exact problem as with incest except in this case it's more tolerable because far fewer people look for porn games centered on anal sex vs those who look for games centered on incest (heck, incest games were critically important in floating F95 out of anonymity AFAIK).
I acknowledged the difficulty from the very beginning which is why I think voting is a reasonably good approach for the new tag. I don't want to see the existing `incest` tag changed. At the very least it would be useful to people wanting to exclude from their searches games that have so much as a hint of incest.
Maybe `incest centric` would be a better name for the new tag. It seems like it would be easier to answer the question `Does the game revolve around incest as a central theme`? The answer would be a clear `No` for Mystwood Manor when the question is not answered pedantically.
