You may be missing some Visual C++ runtimes. Follow these steps:

1. Go
   You must be registered to see the links
   and download the zip file from a mirror site closest to you.
2. Extract the files to a temporary folder (which you can delete later).
3. Run the "install_all.bat" file.

That should fix the problem.

When you say you "named it", do you mean you just created a file called "mapping.xml"?

Otherwise, if you downloaded the one called incest, maybe try opening it in a minor text editor, if it is the correct file, you should be able to fix any problems yourself there, it is pretty self explanatory.

Was able to fix it but now i hve nother problem i can use cheats i uploaded because when i hit continue or load game it wont progress to the save display

That's usually the result of a corrupt save. Move your saves out of your profile folder and try them one at a time. Generally it's the auto save that gets affected, but it's not too uncommon the others don't, though.

This game is not in the version that is written on the website as Mystwood Manor [v1.1.2] when you extract the file the game is version 1.1.0ez. The second time the website has posted the wrong version. The other time it was about another game that they posted on the website saying it was one version and when we went to play it was another version.

The "EZ" is a modded version, which we don't offer support for.

The built-in cheat console will not work if the file "key.ini" is missing from the game's folder. The version you are playing uses "EZ", which has never been released by Faerin. It's a known, unsupported 3rd party cheat mod that was put into your game. And as I mentioned before, we do not offer support for anyone using the EZ cheat mod.

IIRC, that only happens when you have a failed interaction. It gives you a way to smooth things over.
