What is it you're trying to do, hire Catalina? If so, you need to renovate the yoga room first.
Guys, I have a problem here, in normal mode.... how do you make guests to lvl up? I can lvl up the girls who work for me but the guests are always lvl 1 :_(

When you assign Julia to the lobby, click on the number to select the next guest level at check-in.

guess not I understand that he didn`t have the general store on the map due he is playing from an older save. from his earlier post I understood that he has already Catalina hired, and he wants to buy the Fishing Rod (Still don`t understand what is soo relaxing about fishing...) to get the spider but he don´t have the general store

That could either be a cheat mod or an older save, but without looking at it, it's hard to tell.

I have a little problem with Sophia Fernandez. When starting the sexual act in her room (last scene for her) the animation doesn't work, y can advance the text until MC tell her to Stop and I can't continue unless I load again.
thanks for the hint ... so far she was sitting in the kitchen but after being transferred to the reception desk the guest appeared ... thanks again

Since I'm big fan of MotH (my first ever porn game bought on Steam), i was patiently waiting for Mystwood Manor to be completed. Don't really like playing unfinished games. After 12 hours of playing i can say that i like this game. Maybe not as much as I like MotH but i think Manor is a pretty good game. Management part is pretty nicely done in my opinion, it plays well and it's rather engaging and addicting. Can't really say much about adult content yet since everything I saw was a handjob and two masturbation scenes. I saw comment few pages back saying that pacing of adult scenes could be better but from what i can remember in my first 20 hours of MotH i also didn't get any sex and i was kinda ok with that. But i think girls here are more shallow compared to MotH cast, and events with them are kinda uninspiring i guess. But maybe it's just too early to judge yet. I mainly wanted to write about two things in management part i don't like:
1. Girls on the same lvl as guest are very struggling with interactions without any traits/items/cards which increase guest satisfaction. At first i thought that girls having the same level as guests will always pass those interactions. That's why i was focusing more on other things like energy, experience and underpaid trait. When i realized that's not the case i was struggling with lvl 3 guest, now i have some bonus guest satisfaction things but im still somewhat struggling but now with lvl 4 guests. Its really strange to me that lvl 4 girl, with lvl 4 skill without any bonuses is not able to get even 50% satisfaction with lvl 4 guest. Even those girls with 10-15% bonuses are getting only 60-70% satisfaction. I think thanks to this i'm not making as big progres as i should. I can't satisfy more demanding guests so i'm not making big money which leaves me with not enough money to renovate more expensive rooms. Which directly leads to my second thing...
2. Early and mid progression being tied to some pricy room. I mostly think about Annika when i wrote this but from what i saw it also affects some guests. I'm on Day 73, hotel lvl 4, 12 hours into the game... and i still don't have pool. I just couldn't afford it earlier. Not with renovating study, massage and security first. Those rooms are just cheaper and i thought that i should be renovating next cheapest room available to me. Especially when i didn't really get many guests who wanted pool. So Annika joined me quite a while ago but i literally can't make any progress with her. I can afford that pool now but it will take pretty much all my money and i also wanted to open fourth guest room to try make more money but im still saving cash to maybe renovate both at the same time. I don't even think about renovating next rooms...
So yeah, i just wanted to write this. I don't really know if im doing something wrong or something. Making money is hard...

Nah I have every girl, completed all guests and done all tiers and even collected all cards, and can start the ending on my save I simply don't have the general store so I can't get the fishing rod or flashlight for the cave and lake events. But it doesn't matter now anyway as I downloaded a complete save so in the end it doesn't matter

Ok.. We reach the end of another game
(Mystwood Manor) is a hit and miss for me. And this is why..
Basically this game tries to be 3 different types of games in one.
1. Management game. Running your Hotel.
2. Story and puzzle solving. Adventure.
3. Adult, Erotic.

This is missing a lot. I can't hire staff. I can't teach who i want to work with what i want. They keep running out of energy and for whatever reason can't work full day shifts. I, the manager and owner, have to help all of them with the most simple tasks like telling my waiter what to bring a paying customer. (I pay my staff for this) After they become VIP my staff can serve them. Hmmm I find no logic here honestly. I give the Management a Score of 2/10.

The Lore, Story and adventure part, is mostly just text and reading. Sure you have to visit the right place at the right time, but it requires no active thinking on my part except looking at the progress bars and try to be where the game tells me. I do not expect a Monkey Island. But i never got caught in the story at all. In part the User Interface/gameplay is to blame here. I will come back to that. My Score 2/10.
3. The Models are fine and as in all games i have my Favourites and others have there's. Animations don't really do much for me personally. It is still just animated and whatever Erotic feeling i may get, i have to make that mood in my Mind. So.. I liked the Renders and Models overall. I was drawn by some girls but failed to emerge in there story because of the Game format. The very problem for me i am trying to adress in this post. My Score 6/10

I know.. It is not Sandbox game where i can go to any girl when i want. But i felt i had no choice in anything. Every story for all the Staff and Guests was railroaded by the pre scripted story. And my biggest problem trying to follow the Story is the User interface and interaction with the Girls. I have 8 Girls i want to progress with and the only way to follow this progress is .. Click Staff, The Girl, Progress and the (!) to see what is next. Same if i want to see what gear and such a girl is using. 4-5 clicks for every thing i want to see or follow. - I miss a simple extra 2 buttons over the Portrait on screen with a P and G. Clicking it should bring you directly to the Progress, or Gear Tab. And that is obviously just about game play. I might be old .. But i forget what part in the progress i am with every girl after the last choice i made
In conclusion.. I find all the elements clunky and not working well together. In a Vanilla play through i realized i had been wasting all my time on management and keeping mood up and Tarot cards and gear in order for no reason at all. There is no reward for running your Hotel as the Hilton. A second rate Bed & Breakfast will have the same effect.
Based on the Scores on all 3 i end up giving the game as a total of 3.5 Stars.
On a Side note i can mention i gave MotH a Solid 9/10. My only regret with that game was.. It Ended
That all said i hope you understand my only wish is to give you feedback. For those who loved this game i am happy.
I can secretly wish for a MotH 2.. (Or anything similar)
