Having problem with sofia fernandez sex scene the freezes at that point..
That closely mirrors my thoughts on the game, I really like the models though 9/10 for them for meFaerin
Ok.. We reach the end of another game
(Mystwood Manor) is a hit and miss for me. And this is why..
Basically this game tries to be 3 different types of games in one.
1. Management game. Running your Hotel.
2. Story and puzzle solving. Adventure.
3. Adult, Erotic.
1.
This is missing a lot. I can't hire staff. I can't teach who i want to work with what i want. They keep running out of energy and for whatever reason can't work full day shifts. I, the manager and owner, have to help all of them with the most simple tasks like telling my waiter what to bring a paying customer. (I pay my staff for this) After they become VIP my staff can serve them. Hmmm I find no logic here honestly. I give the Management a Score of 2/10.
2.
The Lore, Story and adventure part, is mostly just text and reading. Sure you have to visit the right place at the right time, but it requires no active thinking on my part except looking at the progress bars and try to be where the game tells me. I do not expect a Monkey Island. But i never got caught in the story at all. In part the User Interface/gameplay is to blame here. I will come back to that. My Score 2/10.
3. The Models are fine and as in all games i have my Favourites and others have there's. Animations don't really do much for me personally. It is still just animated and whatever Erotic feeling i may get, i have to make that mood in my Mind. So.. I liked the Renders and Models overall. I was drawn by some girls but failed to emerge in there story because of the Game format. The very problem for me i am trying to adress in this post. My Score 6/10
- - - - -
I know.. It is not Sandbox game where i can go to any girl when i want. But i felt i had no choice in anything. Every story for all the Staff and Guests was railroaded by the pre scripted story. And my biggest problem trying to follow the Story is the User interface and interaction with the Girls. I have 8 Girls i want to progress with and the only way to follow this progress is .. Click Staff, The Girl, Progress and the (!) to see what is next. Same if i want to see what gear and such a girl is using. 4-5 clicks for every thing i want to see or follow. - I miss a simple extra 2 buttons over the Portrait on screen with a P and G. Clicking it should bring you directly to the Progress, or Gear Tab. And that is obviously just about game play. I might be old .. But i forget what part in the progress i am with every girl after the last choice i made
In conclusion.. I find all the elements clunky and not working well together. In a Vanilla play through i realized i had been wasting all my time on management and keeping mood up and Tarot cards and gear in order for no reason at all. There is no reward for running your Hotel as the Hilton. A second rate Bed & Breakfast will have the same effect.
Based on the Scores on all 3 i end up giving the game as a total of 3.5 Stars.
On a Side note i can mention i gave MotH a Solid 9/10. My only regret with that game was.. It Ended![]()
That all said i hope you understand my only wish is to give you feedback. For those who loved this game i am happy.
I can secretly wish for a MotH 2..(Or anything similar)
I wish you the very very best with whatever your next Project may be

Acting lessons, Being a Dick, The Original Big Brother, Big Brother another story, Depraved awakenings, Melody, Dating my Daughter. and of course.. Man of the House. Faerins previous game. A lot of games would get higher Score then MM in my book. But some i played years back and the names get blurry. My first Adult game was "Dreams of desire" It depends a lot on what you want. Simple Visual Novel or actual gameplay.
There is my save and the history, don't know if that's what you need. Oh, I'm using the incest patch, could it be the reason?can you upload your log?
I have a little problem with Sophia Fernandez. When starting the sexual act in her room (last scene for her) the animation doesn't work, y can advance the text until MC tell her to Stop and I can't continue unless I load again.
Most likely you have the game buried in a multitude of folders so the path is too long could you move the game to your C drive so the path reads C:/Mystwood Manor that should fix the problemHaving problem with sofia fernandez sex scene the freezes at that point..
Pretty much la creme de la creme games, Outstanding Renders, good Story, Solid Dev Work.Acting lessons, Being a Dick, The Original Big Brother, Big Brother another story, Depraved awakenings, Melody, Dating my Daughter. and of course.. Man of the House.
Thanks for your reaction. No new surprises unfortunately.Acting lessons, Being a Dick, The Original Big Brother, Big Brother another story, Depraved awakenings, Melody, Dating my Daughter. and of course.. Man of the House. Faerins previous game.
My 'guilty pleasure' for gameplaying is The Genesis Order. It depends a lot on what you want. Simple Visual Novel or actual gameplay.
Of course these are your opinions and perfectly valid. I just want to argue a few points of your assessment specifically of your first point, the management aspect. Please understand this as an argument in the meaning of "exchange of viewpoints" not as "knock each others teeth out, even if only virtually".Ok.. We reach the end of another game

From a pure management gameplay perspective (and after all, this was your header) I agree. However, hiring random cooks or other personnel would in my opinion take away from the focus on the girls. And teaching girls would take away their characteristics - after all, Hana is a security specialist with experience, I doubt we could teach that to Julia. Just as cooking is an art. Serving and the bar (well, and most importantly reception) may be the two most "teachable" skills, but with other I would say it'd take too long for the scope of this game. This is missing a lot. Since we're talking at least breakfast to night club, I'd say it's at least 16 hours of work a day. And the girls can do it twice in a row if we're not using any cards or traits, might even be more. Would be absolutely forbidden where I live. I'd say they run out of energy pretty rarely and certainly get their hours in a week (unless there's nothing to do for one of them). They keep running out of energy and for whatever reason can't work full day shifts.
Here I agree, it's not very logical. I would argue "gameplay and story segregation" here to an extent, since there would be nothing to do for the player apart from checking numbers in Excel and make the odd phonecall, activities which do not lend themselves to great gameplay. The VIP thing I could explain (we are now sure we understand the guests and their idiosyncrasies and can serve them). To me it is more jarring that some of the requests are, let's say, unusual (yes, you may want to try Czech cuisine specifically, especially if you never tried - you should by the way - but I'd say more people go for taste directions and will not care whether it's originally Czech or French).I, the manager and owner, have to help all of them with the most simple tasks like telling my waiter what to bring a paying customer. (I pay my staff for this) After they become VIP my staff can serve them. Hmmm I find no logic here honestly.
Some great games, even if I am not a huge DIK fan myself. A question out of curiosity however: the full, still ongoing, DMD? Or up to a certain point? Because IMO chapters 1 and 2 were really good but chapter 3 was nothing more than banging Dee (I counted 37 times in the week) with a bit of tying up loose ends.Acting lessons, Being a Dick, The Original Big Brother, Big Brother another story, Depraved awakenings, Melody, Dating my Daughter. and of course.. Everything on your list (at least, all the ones that I'm familiar with) is a VN (Reminder: Visual Novel). None of them are games.Acting lessons, Being a Dick, The Original Big Brother, Big Brother another story, Depraved awakenings, Melody, Dating my Daughter. and of course.. Man of the House. Thanks it worked. Most likely you have the game buried in a multitude of folders so the path is too long could you move the game to your C drive so the path reads C:/Mystwood Manor that should fix the problem
You misunderstand my Post. It was just a quick answer to another posters question. I mentioned a few game i enjoyed more then MwM. Not a list of more complexed games or games that include real tactics or strategy. I play Final Fantasy XIV & World of Warcraft for MMO. I play Civilisation and sims in general for strategy. I play RTS games like Stronghold.. And so on. That would be my real List of games. Not Indie developers trying to make a few bucks from Adult VN's or similar. But the Original BB had a way harder grind then MwM ever had.. Tho i am not sure putting girls in rooms in your hotel qualifies as real gameplay. Just as grinding stats in BB to raise attributes. In the end it is simply what floats your boat that matters.. And MwM did not float mine. I only play these types of games to relax between my "Raids" and not have to think or plan strategy. The Erotic parts are just a nice bonusEverything on your list (at least, all the ones that I'm familiar with) is a VN (Reminder: Visual Novel). None of them are games.
Sure, some of them are VNs that include mini-games. But, imo, that doesn't make it a game. Simply a VN + a collection of mini-games.
Some of them are Sandboxed VNs. But all that is a story in which you can re-arrange the order of the 'chapters'. Still not a game.
Some of them are 'branching paths'. But that's just an old fashioned 'choose your own adventure' book. Also, not a game.
MwM actually has gameplay. And as such, it's only got 2 things in common with anything on your list.
First, it's an 'Adult' game and those are all 'Adult' VNs. Commonality being 'Adult' (and that's about it).
Second, Faerin was the also creator of one of those VNs.
I played all chapters of DMDand agree. The last was a let down.Of course these are your opinions and perfectly valid. The second and third point I understand your explanation better so won't comment (I would still score the game slightly higher, but that of course is a complete matter of taste).

My sentiments precisely. And I dont know that I will have the patience, to see it thru to the end. The sex scenes, are FAR too few, and FAR too infrequent. And that just between Mom, Sis, Riley, etc. Not even getting to the guests. I'm having enough trouble, progressing the immediate girls, let alone the intermittently present ones.... But MwM tangles itself up in trying to much on all 3 and ends up not getting any of them right. I stopped following the the Girls and the Story or caring about my Hotel when everything just came to a stop every time i had to Finds gear, or constantly click back to progression screen with all 8 girls. There was no flow in gameplay at all. But i did like the end parts when we finally got some action![]()
Firstly, Sofia Fernandez is a woman, so "she" needs to be at the pool, not "he".hey guys ... how do i run the Narcissist frenzy for Sofia Fernandez? the progress says he has to be at the pool, but he doesn't want to go to the pool for the hell ... what's wrong? the first task is completed, she has VIP on the second level and only she has not completed the 2nd task ...
forgive me, but the English language is not my strongest point and I use a google translator where, as you know, there are distortions ... thank you very much for explaining the difference between hotel levels and reception levels ...Firstly, Sodia Fernandez is a woman, so "she" needs to be at the pool, not "he".
For guests to use the swimming pool, you need the Hotel to be Level 4, plus the Reception needs to be changed to Level 4, to attract Level 4 guests, who will then use Level 4 services.
Guest VIP level has nothing to do with which services they require, it just means you do not need to answer the questions about which drink\meal\massage they require, once you've gained VIP for that level.
