Wow, you play remarkably the same way I do. I could never bring myself to amputee my slaves or something like that for sick pleasure. I always found myself bringing them in and then after their devotion maxed out I would go heavy on education, living standards, and health standards before ultimately deciding to keep them instead of selling them (Hard to sell a slave you put so much time and effort into). Pretty sure my Free City slaves live better lives then most RL humans do at this point. ,-,When I play Free Cities I try to make it where slaves have better lives than even the middle class. Like "This one is branded as a slave of the archology so her education is far superior than that of the average citizen." I hope that the restrictions on education for slaves currently can be altered at some point. I want to turn the hierarchy on its head, cause that shit is Fun. I want my girls to have more pocket money than everyone else cause thats how I roll man.

StationMaster was also learning from FC, and a good example for 3D FC-like games. In that game, events are represented as side windows. When you see an event you're interested in, you can click into it. Then the game cuts to a separate event screen, with text descriptions, 3D performances, and event choices. I think it is suitable for 3D FC too, with the advantage of both text-based game and 3D performances.Good work.
How will scenes and events work? Content development for this game could be sped up if these things can be outsourced to people on this forum.

Slaves will have access to advanced schools. I agree with all of you, and paternalism was also one of my favourite play stiles, but i wanted more. And wanted more, in a true despotic fashion, to be able to affect and influence my citizens as well, and created this advanced eugenics program. The best slaves, the best tech, the best soldiers, the best citizens and.... the best ruler.Ohhh this is definitely going on my watch list. Don't forget one of the main attractions to Free Cities was the intractability and customization of the slaves themselves. Being able to slowly turn a slave with horrible health conditions to a star slave with perfect health and proportions to either sell or keep as a trophy was one of the biggest gameplay features of Free Cities. Hope this game doesn't skimp on this in the future.

Different engines. Porting and converting is tons of work. Might as well start a new project and use pregmod as a base.Probably a dumb question, and also probably one that's been asked in this thread already, but I'm too much of a lazy shit to use the search function...is there a way you could just use pregmod as the backend and build a 3D frontend around that? I don't know the limitations of the various engines and their codebases. Or are you trying to make a game from scratch because why not?
The engines are too different, he would have to essentially rewrite all the code anyway and he would then not be taking advantage of Unity's pros compared to the original. Thank you for the suggestions, and the ones that you made are not an afterthought.I didn't play free cities to manage crops, I think you should focus your development on the slave customization elements, and allow for different game modes that remove the aspects of the game that some people wouldn't want. I wanna manage my archology and mold it to accept the slaves I've trained and customized. Also, there needs to be a massive variety in slave body types, and ways to transition between them and beyond them to extremes. I know this game is in it's very early stages, but that's why I'm saying this now, in hopes that these suggestions aren't an afterthought for a project that's already mostly completed.

I have already further "malleable" body content in the game, it's just not displayed. I understand that claiming is not the same as showing, so i just ask for patience as i'm setting things up.
Body types are just a template, a base. You will be able to further "modify" the body's. The only time you will be able to openly customize body's will be at the beginning, as it is done in Free Cities, and in addition to that, you will be able to customize the player.
I just added the crop upgrade so that i could establish a base for other buildings and upgrades, and since then i have been making more buildings for the next demo release. Buildings and upgrades are part of the management mechanics of this management game and i must have some done before i consider the game to be, bare minimum playable, and advance in development phase.
As for moulding the arcology, this too will be addressed in the next release.
At this point everything a priority for development, so please be patient, and i really do appreciate everybody feedback, so thank you for yours and keep an eye out on further releases, and i look forward to your feedback then too.
