Everyone like (or don't like) different things. Some don't like mother-son, and you already cut that part of a story. But now some will come with idea that you should cut the lesbian story or put some yakuza or samurai characters (if the story is in Japan that it must have them). Or to put gay or god forbite futa story or some other weird shit. And at the end even you will not be happy with the story (because you cut some very good staff).
The point is that you already have very good story and you should tell it the way you feel is right.

ashitanojoe is right about marketing, maybe about Steam platform. Most people trust paying only with PayPal, so Steam is more trustworthy.
I'm not sure that he is right about splitting the story in two parts, one with only Kiara and one full story. Problem with corruption story is that most people care only for MC. So if you split, 95% (or even 99%) will play only Kiara part, and that part will have plot holes, because some events are triggered by side characters (and you won't see that in Kiara only story). Patrons will not be satisfied with full story, because when they pay they will expect more content on Kiara (preferably more sexy scene). But they will end up with side characters that they don't care about, because they have not been long enough in Kiara only version.
He mentioned Innocent or money as good example. That is very good story, but it is also great example where side characters are irritating as fuck.
Instead of cutting the story, maybe you should start releasing one update a month. That update will be big enough to contain the side characters story (that is important to main story) but will also have enough content on Kiara (especially sexy content) that will make everyone happy.
About Kiara and Mia. You are right that Asian women look younger that Western. But the problem is that Mia is looking one or two years younger than she should. And Kiara is looking year or two older than she should. And you lose 20 years gap between them, now it looks like 15 years, and not 20 years, difference between them. But for me that is not the problem.

Updates are already coming like bullet train, I don't remember other game where updates are coming this fast. Try working on marketing, maybe try to fix grammar errors and price errors (in cosplay section) and everything will be fine.

No no , I am replying to joker's comment . He is from chapter 1 days actually back when the the original version ( you can look it up at page 1) , It was quite convoluded since i had real time swappintg between characters . As in if japan it was 2 am , I'd show 4 pm in ny .

So yeah that's what i had told him got fixed , all scenes and side stories are still in . but i changed the format to Kiara whole day first , then ny segments.

Also I'm gonna market once i have 0.5 finished , because then majority of the story stuff is done of ch 2 and then.


Lastly , I'm not splitting or scrapping anything.

The only scene i cut in sachiko now is her and her son having few nsfw scenes.

Now instead i am just doing what she was supposed to do in plot in 0.5 later , SPOILER -> She's gonnna help sofia and mia by distracting john in their plan to recover memory files for kiara.

and give jennifer one more pep talk and then leave the story until the ending.


So np , nothing is cut.


Kiara is prioritized more and more now because of not just player complains , but because in script we are also at that point.

The Dev been shorting the side story because he is trying to please every player type including the ones that are moaning about the side content, which is unfair for him and the original story that his team wanted to tell, there is a really good and very well written story within this game, a story that would make a prefect movie (without the porn) and has beautiful renders, all credit goes to the team making it as they are all talented

I support the dev and his team and this game to how he originally wanted the game to be on the script that is written for the full game, the side content does not bother me and other patreons that are supporting the game

Day 1 is about getting Kiera safe in Japan away from her father that forced Kiera to be the way she is, From day 2 it's about protecting Kiera and keeping her in Japan and you are able to skip the side content, so players already have a choice to see it or skip it already, from day 3 it's all about Kiera rebuilding her life and memories and on day 4 the recent last patreon update has been all about Kiera and her past and she starts to remember things and is really very well written as if you have a heart, it even made me tear up

Some players want sex and rape from the start, those players are the ones moaning and giving the dev death threats, that should not be happening, this is not like the dev for A Wife & Mother game or a few other games where the dev takes your money and takes a few months just to make one update, there are real people including me that help fund the game to be made so it has a future because we like the game and story and the dev vision for the game

Updated my compressed Android port of New Beginnings in Japan Chapter 2 to v0.4.3.

Got some basic gestures loaded in: swipe up for save menu, swipe down to hide UI, swipe left to rollback and swipe right to skip. Save files are now stored in the Documents folder. This sometimes means that you may need to close and re-open the port after installing so the save folder is properly created.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the port and I'll see what I can do to get them sorted.
