exactly my point my man, what I replied to was " Step/adopted/foster relations don't matter to Patreon, they're all incest"... which is clearly not the case coz they would have been banned from the site otherwise. Anyway I don't give a shit if step or not, it's a somewhat good story, and I enjoy it for what it is, unless some other people I don't get hung up on trivial shit like this
No there was no bait an switch at all. The original eve was a step-cest story always. You downloaded a third party patch that some one else made not the dev and then assumed it was an incest story after playing it with the patch.
Just to clarify what was already said
Christmas Eve was not an incest story, Eve and her sister Daye are his step-daughters
as for the incest tag, it most likely refers to the Eve and her sister Daye sharing him and them having a relationship with each other.

so either the mom groomed her daughters to fuck her new guy just to spite their real dad, or there will be NTR down the line because the girls where trained to care for daddy, just that they now have more then one.
So the kinda romantic and sweet story of the first part got remade into a fucked up hill billy, the hills have eyes like horror shitshow.

*Jonesy* I just finished chapter 2 and I really enjoyed it. I did notice 2 small issues that you may or may not want to address.
First, the Audio got really loud during the scene when the MC and Becky played pool. It did not match the level used for the other audio in the chapter.
Second, when the MC went for his job interview he entered the elevator and said he was going to the top floor however the image you used outside the conference room window looks like it's on the ground floor. It's a very minor detail but was instantly noticeable to me so I wanted to mention it.
Otherwise nice update. I am already looking forward to the next chapter.

Sadly, I really disliked the update. It's just broke out of what I hoped the game would be. A lighthearted story about a man, it's stepdaughters and closest friend. So the first update kept all oft this still alive, even though the upcoming drama wasn't my cup o tea. But update 2 basically crashed the thing into a wall. When Kim came up, I really disliked her and hoped she wouldn't get more time. When the job interview came, I wanted to quit the game. It feels like he is going to fuck all the women in the town and if there is time left he will take the world. In the hope you would get the curve and some redemption will come, I forced myself to play through. But yeah, Kim was there again and it went from dislike to hate and the behavior of daye ind ka-bar crisis was also net very well done. But that's just me, coming to terms with the fact that this simply isn't what I hoped for, no ones fault but mine.
I wish you good luck with the game Jonesy, since everyone else seems to love the direction it's going.

I'm somewhat with you, was fine until they were keeping it in the family so to speak, but that office scene was a huge no on my end as well, it's just fucking unrealistic and imo doesn't really suit the theme of the game and the prequel.

I liked the update overall, but agree that the office scene felt very off. I also think the game would benefit from keeping the cast fairly small, to the (extended) family and closest friends. There are enough adorable smols as well as Becky, that I don't really see the need for any side-girls like Kim.
Especially this early in the game.
I did feel the writing had improved as well as the renders. Some of the animations were a little stiff, as I think has been mentioned by others. But that's something I'm sure will improve with practice and time

The whole incest thing, people just see a patch, not if it is official, and come on, step-cest it's like seeing an actual landlady in a porno game, who does that.
I'll give it one more update, but that end put a dampener on things, I liked christmas eve because it was simple and no stupid drama, too many devs think drama makes things interesting, but it just takes away from things.

Whether the incest is between blood relations or not is something I don't care about at all. What matters to me is that the daughters see the MC as their real father, irrespective of genetics. It's the emotional impact that matters.

yeah I agree, single again did the same and it's great. But what I don't like here is the potential direction the game is taking with that office manwhore approach

Single Again was indeed in the back of my mind. And there's also a biological father there who might become relevant in some way to the story.
So the cliffhanger and the apparent direction the whole office situation looks to take in this game, seem like unnecessary distractions. Bearing in mind we really don't know what jonsey has in mind for either, but I don't want to be forced into relationships (or just sex) with anyone.
I'm fine with situations where at game start the MC is involved with someone (e.g Isabella - Dark Paths), but after we take control of the MC I want some say in that. Especially regarding side girls.
I don't want to become the office manwhore.

I agree.
But let me just say it again so it doesn't get lost in the discussions of what we have concerns about; I like the game. The dev is clearly improving in a lot of ways, he's working hard to make a game for us to enjoy. The girls are cute, most of the story is interesting, and we don't know what the dev has in mind for the future.
To sum up, I think there are three major concerns about the future development.
1. We are nervous about the new job and being forced into sexual relationships with the various ladies there. We want to be able to say 'no', without repercussions.
2. Biological Father. Some of us, like me, don't really care if the MC's daughters are his biological daughters or not. Others care a lot. But the introduction of a biological father seem unnecessary and a pointless complication.
3. Keep it small and tight... Erhm. The inclusion of a few extra sidegirls also seems unnecessary, we have two cute daughters, a friend of theirs and a woman our own age. All of whom want us. Chelsey and Kim (and the possible ladies at the office) seem more like a distraction than additions to the story. I personally would prefer to have the relationships with the main four women be the focus of development. I'm not against adding a girl or two down the line to the harem, but there's no need to rush things.
