Yo, i don't mean to be an absolute prick, but isn't the whole outfit thing kinda fucking pointless if it's not going to be actually used in the sex scenes? Like, 80% of this game is Aradia getting caught and used y'know. The gameplay isn't that engaging to at least compensate the fact. Does anyone else think this aswell? I just think that maybe he should try to go that extra mile and make it so outfits work in the scenes too, idk
Yeah, I agree. It feels like extra work for not enough reward; I think the idea is more like a nod to his previous work. I'd rather that time be spent on better eroge escape mechanics, another event or really anything that will lead to more content/polish (even just dropping it for an earlier release). That'd be different if he was implementing an entire outfit system with visual progression in mind, but that'd take an enormous amount of work and is clearly not the case. But this is a solo indie developer so it's really just his opinion that matters, and the game is going to be great even if it has some half-ass last minute features.

I find it crazy people are complaining about were he is, when there are dozens of Patreon games that go no were for years/decades, in a span of a few years we have a insane amount of FREE animations to nut to, and your complaining about how he is trying new things.
I think people are just anxious to finally see the game complete. There isn't another porn game out there that appeals to my tastes like night of revenge does so I can understand why they would want him to focus on the animations and lewd content rather than dress up so the game can come out sooner.
I get you and it's clearly this dev's magnum opus-- he should do what he wants with it and take the time he needs for it. It's awesome.
I understand the logic of the criticism too though, I kinda agree there's a triage of more important updates rather than outfits (in the way they're being used).
It's not just complaining though. Criticism is also a method to refine your own ideas. Doing it in public is an opportunity to have your ideas pushed on by others. With that said, I should have pushed back on "The gameplay isn't that engaging..." because I disagree with this. In the current state, if the game is played with some self-imposed rules, it can actually be quite challenging.
Anyways, I have a lot of respect for D-LIS. There are certain aspects of his development process that should be a model for others. However, that doesn't somehow place him above criticism. That's a place reserved for emperors in despotic regimes.
It's been 7 months since the final beta (operation check). Implementing new systems at this state is concerning because we don't know when it'll stop. I thought we'd get an announcement about release by now, but it's possible it'll be a few more years (hopefully I'm wrong, maybe it'll be announced this month).

I thought the gameplay was kinda fun but then again the only gameplay I ever experienced was defeating enemies that blocked the way to a sex scene
That statement about Criticism is eh, odds are the statements of many of the people here will never reach his ears period. and anyone here who could gain from this, already knows it.
Was not saying don't Criticize was saying dont complain about someone who is solo developing at a far faster rate then pretty much any Patron dev. But i can understand the cross of understanding. since i was speaking in a WIDE spectrum.
The Clothing system was in the base game and is in the current released beta, Tho there was never any other outfits. to call it a whole new system is a bit much

that's just how dry this game is right now. the dev doesn't want to give out anything to keep people engaged so people do people things and have to come up with something to keep themself engaged in the community. yet this will only last for so long. so if this game DOES years from now then I doubt there will be anyone around who's around now who will care.
