I just ignored that enemy. Though I think they make a clank sound when you hit them so you could interpret that as cutting off their chains.
Help I give it to examine here and it automatically stays the game without moving or advancing or anything

Try this build of the game instead, it was shared specifically to include most stuff you'll need and it won't soft-lock there.

No, because art animated with spine has enough complexity to where hardly anyone wants to redraw all the cut-apart sprites to make a reasonable result. Someone did that once on an earlier version of the game to make a Bunny Suit outfit and it was badly executed to the degree nobody's tried anything else of that sort since. That's not even considering changing Aradia in scenes.

Holy hell, that twist in the end is really something. The flashback led me to believe it was a brainwashed/undercover Claire doing her best to undermine the Church's power. Aradia deciding to commit sudden sudoku does confuse me however. Candore aside, I don't recall anyone whose life got directly screwed due to her blazing track of vengeance.

I think that "Good Karma" ending actually works better for me. From idea and CG visuals. Wish it was not a static CG, but animated just a bit.
I think at this point I don't expect a better one. Current one is enough to understand the story and H-events with notes. Some text is untranslated here and there, though. But it's minor part.
Also, I'm still testing combat mod. Attack interruption on guns sure looks weird and OP as hell. On the other hand anything can be exploited, so it's just about buffing enemies. I'm thinking about removing enemy "stun" animations altogether and replacing it with a quick follow-up attacks. And after that there's just a lot of Assembly enemy-specific code to touch:

whenever i pick a mode after it loads for awhile it then crashes it says 'the game has crashed. the crash report folder named "2023-12-30_003832" next to the game executable. It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game!'
