Isn’t the sad ending the “bad ending” I’ve seen comments that there’s a (maybe not happy but satisfying) ending. Does anyone have a gameplay/story walkthrough guide?

In the final boss you will have a choice to go with her or not, If you chose not to, it will trigger the fight resulting in the bad ending or you can chose to go with her if you have at least 130 karma.

sorry for the bad grammar

The "sad ending" is the actual canon ending.

The "less sad ending" people mention isn't actually a good ending. It's actually the bad ending of the two, even if it feels less sad.

Well, all the developer's sites and sales pages say it's complete... The last couple of months (IIRC) of posts are about it being complete / about the completed game...

Yes it's complete.

There was a long pause in releases after most of the areas and enemies were in the game, since the developer said they were saving adding the story in until most of the game was done.
hi
This game is great
How many non-pixelated sexy scenes are there?

Onijinmaru, the Ranch boss, is bugged out for me. There's no animation or followup when he dies. He just suddenly disappears, the music cuts out, and nothing else happens. Leaving and returning to the area respawns him. What do?

Not gonna lie, I'm a little miffed Candore ended up like that - I thought she would've showed up again, powered up and pissed, ready to kick my shit in (as is Soulsborne tradition), but it looks like the dev thought otherwise. It's Shadow of Yhidra all over again.

I mean I knew soulsbornes were grimdark, but this just made me especially sad...
Tbh I'd rather have night of revenge as a normal game instead of hentai when I realize just how dark the story goes... Now I can't even fap to this knowing in D-lis' mind every single game over scenes is basically really just Aradia dies in worst fate.

Ah but that's wrong. There haven't been good ideas, only complaints and thumbs ups. There's a fine line where identity of a creative work is lost to a homogeneous taint of a larger group. Generic, non-constructive commentary like "I don't like the struggle system" is worthless in the eyes of indie and if that's all it sees then it is best not seen at all.
I have a few ideas, though I have no idea where they fall on the good/worthless scale:
>Instead of struggling becoming harder and harder as you do it, which is just an odd cycle of [spam-click for 2 seconds>wait in frustration for 10 seconds>repeat], timing it against thrusts could be a little more fun. I'm assuming you can time against thrusts, because the procs like aphrodisiac already seem to work that way (though its been a few weeks since I've played, I might be misremembering). So the longer it's been since a thrust, the less stamina is used. Being thrust into while trying to struggle breaks focus, and carries a stamina consequence.

I was also uncertain as to what each icon represented, but an earlier post indicated that 2 hearts was paralysis? If it's not too difficult to make a proc last past a specific grab interaction, that could be an orgasm meter. I don't remember any examples of her cumming independently of enemy action cycles, so that could be a fun mechanic. She cums, she is stunned for a little while and unable to fight back. I remember trying to get the 2heart icon to fill up was pretty difficult, so both having it endure past a grapple and having it start building before aphrodisiac is finished could make that easier, as well as maybe taking a big hit during enemy orgasm. (Potential bonus: I have no idea if it's easy for you to effect when animations occur, but adding some leg-shaking during orgasm would be a nice flavor addition)

Do we know if D-lis is making more games? The MAdLAd has talent and gave me an itch for this niche. Any similar recommendations?

Night of Revenge goes out of its way to portray cruelty, evil, and tragedy. Why does a porn game have pages and pages of text specifically illustrating just how sadistically offenders have abused innocent women in heartbreaking ways?

[Ending Spoilers] Our Aradia's final act of stabbing her own heart is the ultimate expression of what you do in this game. The cruelest fates are delivered to the most undeserving. Aradia has the chance to befriend these survivors in the church, yet the journal logs show us that they all end up getting tortured and raped. Of all Aradia's enemies, the noblest and purest suffer the most terrible fates.

Candore's fate is an experience that's actually *worse* observing for a second time. It really sinks in that she's *literally raped to death*, by the very people she devotes her whole life to protecting, who should be rescuing her in her vulnerable state.

Now I want to play Bullet Requiem to get deeper into the mind of the game's creator D-lis. Curiously, as gratuitous the visual depictions of graphic violence and assault are, it is vehemently anti-pornographic on a moral level.

In both games, you're specifically encouraged to and rewarded for rescuing other girls from being raped. You don't get a payoff of porn. You get game impacts that directly support the goals of your heroine.

Those who feel the greatest sorrow can receive the greatest joy. Those who have the least in the world can have the most gratitude. And those surrounded by the most evil can shine the most brightly living with a pure heart.
You say that, but Aradia basically just gets raped a lot and then kills herself...

Why would the "non canon bad ending" be the one that requires karma? wtf
