attention everyone in this thread: we have an actual, real and precise date of twine version being published. I quote from bedlams recent patreon update:
"What I am going to also commit to, and I'm so confident on this I'm going to give this an actual specific date, is the first twine version.
That's going to be out December 30th for members on the Twine tier and above."

also the normal rags version wont be out till january so we can all go back to sleep
We'll probably be disappointed on that date, but hopefully it means in two or three more months, after many excuses, something will be out.

I get the distinct impression you are trying to spark an argument via nitpicking just for the sake of being snarky, and fail to see how I stand to benefit from participating in that.
Where are you getting this from? It was an honest question.

Samudra
-When and where you can get her: Plains assignment "A Deluge of Oozes".
-How: You need to crit and your slave offering needs to have 3+ Endurance Training, a rare race (200+ gold I think), the Resilient trait, and a magic-user trait.
Did the requirements change since then? I seem to have hit every checkbox on this list: Critical Success, Endurance Training (x5), Thornheart Nymph (+260 gold), (Res)ilient trait, Magic:Nature trait. Or is it, after all that, simply a coin toss whether the reward slaver is Samudra or a random Ooze?

EDIT: TL;DR - vs

While I don't doubt it could be a random bug, I think back then Endurance training couldn't reach x5, and the checks on the assignment might not have been properly future-proofed, as tends to be Bedlam's MO. So I suspect Endurance training would have to be at exactly 3 or 4. If you have earlier saves, you can try to check if that's the case.

Oh well - to the Auction she goes, I suppose.

Speaking of saves: is it "normal" that I can only have 3 or 4 saves total at any given time? In Chrome, at least - after that, blablabla local storage quota exceeded blablabla when I try to create another one, only overwriting already existing ones works at that point. Also, sometimes I see "supported by their Alter Ego" or "supported by their Hireling" in stats/effects/contributions on the reward screen - what are those two from and what do they do, exactly? I go "ooh, sounds fancy...I have no idea what that is" every time I see a new effect/stat in results.

Feels like the game needs a far more comprehensive guide than what we have in-game (and ALOT more informative than that..."wiki").

Those two iirc are from slaver upgrades. In certain tiers they grant a mini-accompanying character for extra traits.

As for saves, storage is a common limitation for lewd HTML games. I cope by using Edge just for the games, but there are supposedly other workarounds for the more savvy.

Is there any logic for the way talking to slavers works? Like I get them being cagey about their secret fetishes but why is it like pulling teeth to figure out what jobs they want to do? That's not a secret- that should be part of the hiring process.

Not noticing any issues with RAGS so far, not sure why an optimized version is necessary. Maybe if your save files are really bloated?
Play it for a little longer and you'll understand why it's so shit. The game bugs out all the time and is very unintuitive to play

I'm assuming you're playing the regalia version. There is no limit whatsoever to the amount of saves you can have in the RAGS version and from my experience the RAGS version is far more stable and bug-free than the regalia version. The ghost commission problem in particular happens a lot when you try to cancel giving out assignments in regalia.
You can try to flush your local storage to free more space for saves, but that will erase a lot of data on other html games and site data. Chrome has a local storage limit of around 500 Mb iirc

no that isn't normal i had more than 10 in opera gx
advise for regalia save a lot bc there will be bugs thankfully it doesn't take ages
aborting assignments will probably send your slavers into limbo so save before. if you are stuck at 3-4 saves use the export function to save to disk

Must be Chrome shenanigans, then - I vaguely recall having something similar with another game years ago. Oh well, +1 to trying another browser (Google does not seem to want me around with an adblocker, anyway)

Already on it - mostly whenever I sent the leader on a mission, but yeah - "only two kinds of people: those that do not make backups, and those that already do";). This is how I found out about the 3-4 saves thing, in the first place.

Oh yes, the not so fun stuff: my previous playthrough had 22/20 Slavers and "Potential slavers: -2" with no assignments running. :KEK:

Yet another "what does this button do?" from me: what is the "being away from encampment" message all about, specifically? Is there a chance to get a gameover or something (getting overthrown)? Is it just increased drain on supplies/gold (since nobody is keeping the other slavers in check)? And if the duration of being away is a factor, how come it sometimes pops up on, say, 6-day assignments whilst not being there on some 8+ days long ones? Is the mechanic tied to specific assignments themselves rather than how long you are away on a mission in general?

P.S. I ran Draki Maid and got two slavers who seem to do all assignments together ("accompanied by"), also hit a crit on Mistress of Torment with a random [useful] slaver and now the succubus from it (no, not Rizette) accompanies that slaver. Question time: can the two be separated somehow? Also, are these "double slavers" meant to be advantages or disadvantages? I reckon there is the benefit of having +1 slaver slot on assignments and the penalty of potentially having poop traits on the second slaver hurt the success chances - anything else that might make me want (or not) to have such pairs?

i'm running firefox + ublock origin as my primary browser
but during resource intensive games or for html based games i use opera gx, bc i have a lot of addons for ff and they sometimes don't play nice

Does being a "puppet leader" have any functional/gameplay effect? I got there via being dommed by a bedwarmer, and I see the flavor text of acting like a slave at night, but is that all it is? Flavor text? Or is it going to, iunno, keep progressing towards something like a gameover? Would very much like to back out of that, if so - whilst I can appreciate the submissive side of the game, having to pay for that by not being able to play anymore does not sound that enticing to me.

no its just a new end of the day text, and a few different lines on one assignment? The coast brothel one, it will give you a slightly different result if you go yourself. But you dont get a game over due to being a puppet leader.

How is "Quick As You Like" supposed to be played as a leader?

I went on it myself -> 8 days of nothing -> Some text that seems to be implying having obtained the "Slutty" trait and the camp has no leader. Clearly not a favorable result - reload the save (before accepting the assignment - I know savescumming the assignment after accepting it is too late) to try again -> same thing. Reloaded it 10+ times - same result every time. This does not seem like RNG to me, and more like something I am missing to qualify for more favorable results, so...what ARE those requirements? What is the assignment all about?

After all, since it explicitly says "you will get a bonus based on the number of times you have yourself run QaYL", you clearly are supposed to be able to complete it and, you know, return so you can run it again in the future.

It's like it appears to be. If you critically succeed you lose the slaver and if you succeed you gain gold but also turn the slaver into a slut, genderbent if it was a male. I kinda wish there was some way to gain the slaver back (perhaps as a slave) with a follow up assignment but unfortunately that's not the case. From a gameplay perspective it makes no sense to send anyone to that assignment really. Maybe if you want to genderbend one of your male slavers it might serve a purpose although still very risky.
The bonus it's talking about is just a bonus to the next QaYL if you don't critically succeed.
The game alludes to a "baron" who seems to be like a competitor to the mistress of roses as the slaver's new owner, maybe in the future bedlam can make a new assignment to attack his mansion directly and rescue slavers lost in QaYL
