Hi I'm new to Rags games and am having an issue of could not load file or assembly'system.data.sqlserverCe.Version=3.5.1.0
I have the correct version of rags and have installed SSCE Runtime and Mincrosoft windows media pack as recommended
I assume there's something else I need to do.

Still lots to do with solving the issues with conditions and passages so will keep you posted with how that gets on.
It started out as a RAGs project ages ago, iirc actually before the prerequisites for RAGS were officially deprecated by Microsoft (which was seven years ago). Now he still keeps putting new stuff in the RAGS version to appease paying patrons, which is obviously delaying his getting done with the Twine port.
I guess if more porn game fans were sufficiently security conscious they'd object to having to pollute their Windows 10 installs with deprecated Microsoft software required to run a subpar game engine, there'd be somewhat more pressure to make the switch to avoid actually losing patrons.
(And I don't even get why the cult following likes the new stuff, given too many of the newer missions have obscure requirements on the level of sacrificing a virgin arm and leg on a Friday the 13th that happens to be Easter Sunday.)

Yeah, Regalia is a tool for directly converting RAGS to HTML. More bug-prone than a full rebuild in Twine, but useful as a stop-gap for those severely aggravated by RAGS’ unique charms (note: I haven't tried this conversion yet).
I am currently having some issues with RAGS as the text of the game is not formatted. I believe it is not how it should be. Every [.b] or [.i] or [.u] is in the text instead of actually formatting the words that were intended to be formatted. Any ideas how to fix that?
"To avoid formatting issues, you will need to update the text to html using the in game tools along with right clicking on the main text screen, then Encoding -> Unicode." Happens with Rags 3.0.60.
So you can now become a "puppet leader" if you are dominated enough at night, however, this seems to be a copy of the super negative right hand choices, meaning it's hypnosis content. Is this it? Because it doesn't really make sense for someone to be dominating you personally and then all of the sudden it turns to hypnosis and you forget the events of every night.
I find it works well enough for smaller, less complex games, but there's so much going on in No Haven I haven't had much success with Regalia there. Glitches as early as character creation (it looks like Regalia can't quite cope with the nested race selection menus in the recent releases), and usually some kind of game stopper within the first month of a playthrough (this version clearly doesn't like cancelling assignments).

Why is it not longer possible to change the race via biomancy? Was it removed with one of the latest updates or is this a bug?
Edit: Seems only be an issue with Dwarfs. Other races can be transformed into something else but the option won't show up on a dwarf.

im going to assume when we change formats we would be able to use save data of older versions on the new format on newer patches instead of starting fresh
Question about being a sleaze bag and the Regalia conversion since I hate dealing with RAGS. How does one use the built-in cheat function? if I try to do it, Gold and Supplies turns blank and while I just seemingly have infinite gold and supplies, the slavers think I have zero of it and now I have endless loss of morale every day.
Trying the game out. Is my portrait stuck to the character or is it possible to change in game?
