It's a little sad that the developer missed the opportunity to make really good money on this game simply because of a lack of communication. If he had been making one or two posts per month on Patreon with a short status update and maybe two or three bonus renders, he would have gained so many more patrons.
The game is amazing—one of the best on this site. However, the lack of regular communication is kryptonite for supporters. Who is going to keep spending money on a game that may or may not have been abandoned, especially when there’s no way of knowing because the developer only gives updates every three to six months?
There are still some updates left, so I hope the developer will look at some of the successful creators and follow their approach to posting on Patreon. He deserves financial success, but right now, he is his own greatest enemy.
