Is anyone else having problems with loading saves? Im on Mac and whenever I try and load a save it either gives me an exception saying "Couldn't find a place to stop rolling back", or sends me to to a set point before the save. It's really getting on my nerves. The last time I played this was a while back, but I think this is not the first time I've had this problem with this game. Makes it borderline unplayable.

I dont know about mac but with windows there are two fixes you can try. If your past saves were using a mod like a walkthrough mod, your new updated game needs that same mod (but updated for the current version) if it still doesnt work try loading an auto save, it will be near where you last manually saved. Still need the mod installed if you used one in a previous save.

I play on a mac. I generally play through without a mod, and then play through with a mod. After installing the mod, I was unable to load my previous modded save, but the unmodded save worked fine for both unmodded and modded play throughs. That said in the past i've had to go to autosaves from time to time.

Good luck.

So.... I finally finished this update. I can't believe it took me days to reach the updated content but here we are. I'll start off by saying i did the no Naomi run and to be honest, while it's different, it doesn't seem as different as i thought. I did "accidentally" sleep with her multiple times on the way. Oh who am i kidding, It wasn't accidental. Those scenes was just that hot that i had to deviate a bit here and there.

This was a great update overall. I think i enjoyed it more because i played through the entire game so everything was on my mind as i progressed. I'm definitely looking forward to the next after that ending for this one. Milf times await ahead. I hope Sydney and them are fine too. While i do love Alice, Sydney is still one of the Waifus and if i can have both then I would definitely do it.

Just deleted all of my save files and restarted the game. Just got back on and tried to load a save and the same exception message occurred: "Couldn't find a place to stop rolling back. Perhaps the script changed in an incompatible way?". Doesn't seem to be a problem with the WT Mod, as removing it changed nothing. So damn frustrating. I just want to play the game.

Honestly, I think this is a great story even without the sex parts. I just enjoy and look forward with anticipation on seeing how they survive and how they overcome the obstacles they encounter. With a little modification this would be a great movie/series to watch. I sometimes find myself saying "hurry up, don't linger there, keep moving" or similar things in other situations. lol

POINT 1: If you had the mod, wait for it to update.
POINT 2: After having run into this a few times myself, I've started going back 5-10 steps from the "end of chapter" screen and saving there. Usually works. I would do this even with the mod.
POINT 3: Since everyone seems to be forgetting this: The Walkthrough mod BRUTE FORCES the game's code to allow you to see all the scenes. This also means setting all related variables to whatever choices, even if they conflict and even if you wouldn't normally get that variable.
This means that unless you continue to install the mod after it updates, your savegame is useless. The only way to fix this is start a new game without the mod installed.

He was drunk and having that as a dream. Happens in chapter 2 or 3, if I recall correctly. Before they lost power.

Your suggestions, points, and information are all useful and accurate, but not all save game errors are because of use of the mod. I have had irregular and inconsistent save issues for several updates but I have never had the mod installed. For the reasons you listed, I never would. Luckily my issues have never been so bad as to force a restart, though. I've always managed to find an autosave that worked to continue from. Some others may not have been so fortunate though - even if, like me, they didn't ever use the mod.

I don't remember having a mod installed but it's possible. I'll keep an eye out for any updates and try again. Thanks!

I don't ever post, but I felt after playing this game pretty much on and off for the past week I HAVE to post. I personally am not really a big fan of post apocalyptic story lines but this is quite a great story. I have been quite enthralled and on the edge of my seat going through this. There are times where I am like "ooo thats gunna bite them later".
I have REALLY enjoyed it.
Thank you so much I can definitely see the care and love in this story!
I am currently on Chapter 17.

That's why I mentioned what I did on point 2. Because I did have it muck up my saves so bad that I had to restart, and I don't use the mod either.
When you reach the "End of Chapter" screen.. roll back 10 pages or so, then save. After doing that regularly, worst I've had happen is it loading in about 40 lines back. Also might be worth making a second save at the start of a new chapter.

haven't seen the ending yet but so far this has been the most "useful" porn game I've seen this year
I must have fapped 8 times with it in 5 non-consecutive days and still haven't finished it
I still skip most of the talking and imagine what they thinking on my own but yeah, the game is really useful
