You really know nothing about japan and censorship except that it exist? Let me give you a quick explanation.... who cares, it's CENSORED anyway...

To make it short (important statement for other, i know it's more complex), porn is illegal in japan, and porn is defined by vaginal penetration. So they censor penis and vagina and therefore it's not a vaginal penetration because it's censored.
Stupid but it work. And after decade, it become the norm we know today
PS: it's the same for prostitution, it's forbiden to have paid sex but because sex is only vaginal penetration, everything else is allowed.
The 17th day come out of nowhere. The dev doesn't have a blog linked to DLsite like a lot of other, so we can't even try to find answer there. Also i'm pretty sure that the second proof is the photo and if you took it, the chest disappear.
Personnaly i like the idea behind it, but the condition can be way better. Good exemple are game like "In a certain mansion" or "リビド～淫・秘薬乱痴狂～". Multiple route possible, some horror vibe to it like you don't always know what happen to the woman, need to be carefull about some details,etc... (NTR is avoidable)
Thanks for the answer, but my question was rhetorical, I'm just bitching about this fucking nonsense. The law is the law, I get it, but it's fucking annoying and excessive to censor genitals of fictional characters. Unbearable sexual scenes are legal as long as the genitals are censored...
The thing is that this plot has been used many times before and not only does this game look like a cheap copy of other games, it also seems unfinished. This game is practically a copy of Spy Mission ~A Noble's Maid~. Only there are no puzzles, no exploration, but there is a boring solution to stalk the heroine and make a choice to "see the scene" or "not see the scene". The game essentially gives nothing. This is the very moment when there is no game, there is a set of images and a walking simulator to drag out the gameplay.
By the way, the games you mentioned have a plot. In the first case, there is even a very good plot, variability of passage and puzzles, in the second case even in excess. And here the hero is led by the hand through the plot. You will literally be given the first two pieces of evidence and led to the third against your will. The only thing left for you is to open the box, but if you do not do this, the game will suddenly end. I do not see anything interesting in this at all. The only reason why it is worth treating the developer more simply is that this is his first game and it has few bugs, a good menu, good graphics and many, albeit identical, scenes, diary entries, etc.
I dont know but this game reminds me of a game which is not on f95 anymore. The same story, same maid + the boy which needs to find evidence, same location and everything, but the game was fully translated.

The first two numbers are present on the evidence(the key and the will), the third is somehow connected with the hero himself, but in the end it is simply selected by enumeration of options.

Yeah specialy on fictionnal character, i agree completely.
But look, Japan are more lenient on the lolicon aspect of thing, and a lot of westerner feel disgust about it, even if it's fictional.
It's really a different paradygm on the matter.
The main difference is that they are multiple woman in the one you link. But yeah, they really have similar plot, they even share the fact that the "good" end doesn't have any sex scene!
