I can make this NTR. Dad is a deadbeat dickhead who beats his son and wife when drunk and is just an asshole all around. Yeah none of this happens in the game. The MC and the second girl that comes along get a small amount of connection building but it's broken instantly, she gets constantly fucked right in front of him while he does nothing about it for every scene from then on. I didn't end up finishing it because it did nothing for me and the pattern to the scenes was pretty clear. Pretty much the opposite of what I look for in NTR but there's an audience for it I guess.

The only positive thing I can say for the game is that it does something that I like to see but seems pretty rare: the second girl gets a mark that gives her power when she has sex with the antagonist and you get messages showing that she's leveled up when you're off doing stuff on your own instead of generic sex stat counts. Engraved Pleasure did something similar but better

So in this post I'm citing you're responding to a person stating that FMC games are not netorare and clearly disagreeing, i.e. you consider FMC games to be Netorare.

Quite typically in FMC games with some boyfriend or husband in the background or as a side char you - roleplaying and controlling FMC - initiate interactions and cheating with bull(s) by taking some jobs, agreeing to some proposals etc. How does this initiative and decisions that you make yourself coexist in your head with the part of Netorare definition meaning 'to be taken'? By some external force and unbeknown to you ('sleeping' part, if this etimology part is correct). With cats and dogs at least there is that external force (by definition and logic, something that you don't want to lose can be taken from you only by external force with it's own agenda, e.g. neighbour) taking them away with treats.

Yeah I also think the ideas Nebel had was pretty hot ("Fluids inside her" status screen was awesome.) I just kinda didn't like how overly complex the game is which turned me off when I started playing. Mind you I don't have problems playing an actual RPG with good hentai slapped onto it, Magical Girl Celesphonia and its Chinese mod was amazingly lewd even if it doesnt have NTR elements (I came buckets). I spent like 40 hours on the Chinese mod and 20 on vanilla grinding materials to min max my build lmao.

No, I don't think that game is NTR at all. No loss there at all. Its just a voyeur game. And the scenes have waaaay too much text, lol. I don't need 17 pages of hearts and auuuaauaus. While some whore I don't even know the name of sucks a dick. lol

I think too many devs just know a surface level of what NTR is and thats why we end up with so much dog shit. The best NTR is made by devs who are actually into it themselves. If you don't care about the fetish you cant really make a good product in that fetish.

You don't need to have a relationship to be sexual for NTR. But it definitely makes it harder to establish that loss if its not. If the MC and girl are fucking, then its much easier to show that loss. But in the case that its more of an emotional loss than physical, it takes more work and a better understanding of NTR to establish that loss and create that feeling of anxiety in the player.

That is why bully NTR is a good way to do it. You create that feeling of hate for a character, then have that hated character take something from you. Or you use a character the objectively worse than the MC, some fat bastard got the hot girl instead of mc, that's BS, etc. More so if the player did everything correctly, and never lost a fight. But still loses the girl.

The reason it follows NTR progression is the corruption arc that is implied when the mother changes to the worse throughout the story. It's no different than a lover getting corrupted and talking shit about her previous bf. Instead of losing a lover, the guy lost his caring mother. I don't know why you emphasize loss, and even support losing a dog as NTR lol, but don't extend it to losing a familial bond without sexual undertones.

The design is nice but I wish he went for a feisty personality again, that was the best thing about Nebel, the girl was pretty hot whenever she served the netori while angry (at the start).
