nah, that sounds about right. I'll add more in the upcoming update (still need to decide whether it will involve sex scenes with Sofia and Mary or whether I'll focus on other characters more), but don't expect much :/ i'm still extremely new and suck at rendering, making an animation will be so much worse lmao. I have been playing porn games since like 2017, so i have played plenty of games, and so far this is probably the game with the story that i have gotten hooked up the most with. The game does delivers what it promises, making your choices matter.
The characters are nice and cosistent, it takes it time building up the relationship, you dont jump directly into sex (i like build up, seduction, to break the taboo)

The onlything that the game could improve its in the sex scenes, they can be sometimes too short which makes them not AS rewarding as they could be.

I'm really looking forward for the second part of the game, its a real shame that this game as well of other good games, arent as succesfull as they deserve, bc this game does deserves much more attention

I have been playing porn games since like 2017, so i have played plenty of games, and so far this is probably the game with the story that i have gotten hooked up the most with. The game does delivers what it promises, making your choices matter.

OOL is a story driven adult visual novel, not a porn game. Hence why it's not that successful. It's usually the brainless porn based games that are successful on here cause there's too many horny pendejos who just want to wank and couldn't give two fucks about the story.

First, I am happy to learn someone else wants to make a part 2 for this really great VN. Second, pretty please do not ignore Sofia and Mary ;-) But of course it's your game now, do what you feel is right. As long as you don't ignore any potential Sofia (especially Sofia) or Mary romance, that is It would feel a bit odd to sidetrack them based on the events in part 1, in my opinion.

It's not a porn game...its a story driven Adult visuel novel with some porn fetishes yes but a porn game mainly focuses on sex which this game doesn't. The crime story is its main focus, the sex stuff is just there to keep the pervs entertained. Cause everyone bitches when a game has a sister or mom that can't be fucked. Everyone bitches if the game doesn't have sex or nudity. Less people care about the main story. In fact I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority here who would still play this game if there wasn't sex/nudity or sister/mom banging.

If its a porn game the story is the afterthought. If its merely an adult game the porn is the afterthought. Considering you could remove the sex and this feel like the same game tha means its not a porn game. Yes it has sex. Yes thats a key feature for a lot of people playing. But you should still be accurate when categorizing things

Maybe I am in the minority but if animations are that difficult for you I think various static renders with good descriptive narration(at least a couple of renders for each scene) that show and tell what is happening could still be enough, since OOL never was about sex first. It's a story driven game with sex. Not the other way around. No animations is of course often something people don't like. But I feel static renders with good narration are preferable over bad or insanely boring animations. Add some really nice music to the scenes (it should be music used only for those scenes), so that despite a lack of animation the scenes have the proper mood.
So many games / VNs I played (roughly 60-70 now) have animations that do almost nothing for me, since they are the typical 1-2 second loops and look quite robotic and mechanical.

And once you gain the knowledge and/or proper hardware you can always begin to add animations later, but don't let animations bog you down too much in the beginning. If it's too much for now, then be open about it (like you are now) and I think most fans of OOL will understand.

Maybe make a poll etc and ask people if they would be ok with no animations for now.

Thanks! I really appreciate the input. That’s definitely a path looking into. I’ve still got a bit more of the story to write before I can focus solely on renders & animations, so hopefully I can get a bit closer to making them better, but if not maybe it will be worth just doing statics and updating them further down the track.
