Hey guys, so I’m gonna make a post here now and then a post in a couple other places a bit later too. I’m looking for someone who’d be interested in doing the renders/animations for the game. I honestly fucking hate what I’ve done so far and just don’t think I’m experienced enough or enjoy rendering enough to do it full time. Ngl, I’ve been postponing rendering too just cos of how much I hate it but I want to get this game done.

I want to focus on the story and the coding side of the game and would like to hire someone for the rendering. I’m happy to negotiate pay (it would be on a render by render basis so I’d pay for every render essentially). I’m happy to recruit a couple of people too if it means it will go faster. That way I can focus on what I like and leave the stuff I don’t up to experienced people who do like that shit.

But yeah that's pretty much how I feel also, I play these games for the combination of story, adult content, and the fact that you can actually influence said story to some extent. The fancy graphics and animations are simply a nice bonus to me, not a dealbreaker if everything else is great.

Same, but I also enjoy the animations. It makes a scene come to life, even if it is a short loop. I'm less of a fan of a sex scene where they start to get naughty, sticks it in, a few pokes, and the orgasm before it's over quickly.

I do play some AVNs without animations, but to me, it's just like reading a regular novel with steamy scenes in them. At least there, I can use my imagination to its fullest without some pictures to accompany it. The animations really make an AVN pop for me if they're done well. Otherwise, it's just easier and more engaging for me to just read an erotic novel.

Awesome game can't wait for part 2 Jane was lead holding the MC back. Would love to see a HAREM aspect so the MC can keep all his women even aunt and mom. Good luck in finding people I'm a writer so I can't help with the other stuff.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate a good animation, but it's the combination of story and art that gets me going, if I just wanted to look at nude bodies copulating I wouldn't even have to look at renders, I could just watch real porn, where it also looks way more life-like.

I agree 100 percent. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy hyper realism too. But there are some great games out there that have simple sex scenes I really enjoyed. Terminus reach for example, awesome storyline that I played just for the story itself, one of the only games I never skipped any dialogue in, sorcerer as well, both by same dev. I wish there were more like these. Don't get me wrong, I faped too, but the story. Was engaging, and you can't beat that.

Considering the current dev is by his own admission a rookie/newbie dev that is still picking up ( and gave up on) rendering, don't hold your breath.
I'm not trying to flame, insult, disparage the dev but having been involved in several startup projects, I see the same patterns occuring.
I do wish dev success though.

Without knowing much about what's going with REV as he seems to have vanished, when he decided to pick it up I was like sure go ahead as I'm no longer developing games... BUT I was very skeptical of whether he would actually be able to produce the game because a) he had never done so before and b) his plan was to do it alone.

People don't realize how much time and skill you need to produce a decent game. A few months ago he asked for some help as he discovered that renders aren't easy at all to produce... so he needs to find someone who is GOOD and who will do it for basically free (revenue share) ... good luck with that.

So yeah, when people complain about why games get abandoned because they get very little support... well there you go.

Yes. I had a plan and a story. The original goal was to have a 3 part game. Part 2 would have picked somewhat 5 - 10 years later with a prologue explaining what had happened during those years. Part 3 would have seen the children of the main cast continuing the story... yes I know it's a rip off of The Godfather, but if you're going to steal, steal from the best :D :D

As for time and support yes to both. I have a full time job and was producing part 1 at the same time which meant insane hour work weeks. I had no time for anything else. I could have just continued on and just have longer release dates for updates but what would have been the point since support was not increasing. So what's my incentive to work like a maniac? Come here and listen to people complain about how I'm an asshole for wanting to get paid for my work? Yeah okay :D :D :D
