Though you need to have a certain amoutn of ruthless points because if youre playing as a nice guy...well you cant abandon her... There is no pregancy plot if you just ignored her after Daniella comes to see you. She just goes away with no love child....trust me

This update did 3 things for me..

1. Made the MC look like a whiny bitch.
2. Made his dad look like a complete moron.
3. Made me want a mother/aunt sammich everyday.

I played a good path, don't know if ruthless is the same but all my mc did most of the update was whine about something.

I also had to question how his dad managed to get any power with how dumb he was in the episode. His son says he heard a recording of his uncle and a woman plotting his death and his dad not only dismisses him but completely ignores it and makes him bring his mother/sister out of protection with the hitman still around.

All this on top of Paulie killing women and children, flying off the rails and MC's dad still doing nothing about him.

I also had to go back and not have sex with a certain someone. I'm all for free love and people having sex with whoever they want as long as everyone is happy and consenting but I really don't want to see my MC getting rubbed down by fingers that have been in his uncles arse.

There are lines even Ava won't cross and going second after bum fingers is one of them. I could tell her she giving a shit handjob and mean it quite literally.



You can't ignore Jane but you can leave her when Danielle comes to see you and tells you Jane is leaving. Either don't go and see her or tell her to leave when you do.

Also read the notes after that scene, she isn't planning on keeping the kid.

But honestly, and I know people have not read this ENTRIE thread of 83 pages, Ive mentioned a few times I have no interest in writing a cold blooded MC character that just offs everyone and everything for the hell of it. I find that boring and uninspired. A character has a journey to fulfil, he just doesnt go from 0 to 100, he might go off the rails sometimes but he gets grounded back pretty quickly, especially if this character is surrounded by people who are pulling him in different directions. I dont know if I made sense, but...it's my story and Im sticking to it

Hmm it's cool that you have a plan and nobody is tryna tell you how to write your story, but there is a clear line between being cold blooded and letting people walk all over you. Anybody with even a semblance of a backbone will get frustrated at being treated like that just once. MC gets frustrated and immediately follows through with what his papa tells (more like yells) him. He doesn't seem like too big of a coward, so it's weird that he doesn't seem at all interested in making better arguments towards his pops. I only read the previous page, so idk if there were actual people wanting him to go out and starting shooting bitches left and right, but I think most people just wants him to grow a backbone every now and then. Right now he just seems like a doormat. I haven't seen him "go off the rails" yet, so who knows how long this stepping stool role is gonna go on for. Except the writer ofc lol

If anything, his father might gain some type of respect for him. You must be someone who always resorts to violence because who said anything about wanting him to punch his father in the face? This is a forum where people express their thoughts, yes some will be ones that you don't agree with. Might wanna get used to that. There's obviously gonna be character progression later on, people being mad about the current situation should be seen as a sign of decent or good writing.

About MC: I don't have the same problem you guys have with the MC reactions/no reactions, he's way over his head, going from student to mobster in a few weeks/months? is a big task that i'am not sure anyone would be able to achieve anything remotely satisfactory. I don't like passive MCs more than you do, but in this situation there is nothing immediate that would change that without hurting the story, so i think we need to give it time for character develpment. And overall he's not that bad, i've seen way more passive MCs on situations that they actually have control.

Just want to add that i fucking loved mom/aunt scene, hottest scene in the game so far. The one with Emma/Elena was pretty good too, her model is beautiful, too bad it's used on a manipulative? bitch

There's a line somewhere between "act like a helpless (and stupid) little child clinging to Daddy dearest" and "cold blooded murderer", no? Something like
"You will do as you are told" - "No, why would I? You don't treat me with respect, you don't get respect." *walks off* - see? Easy.
And as for 'realistic', well, you'd think that for one someone fucking his own Mom behind Daddy's back would be a bit more willing to give his Dad lip from the get-go. After all, if THAT doesn't get him killed...
Anyway, your argument works the exact other way round too:
What is the Don supposed to do to his adult son if he just says 'no'? Anything short of extreme violence and torture absolutely SHOULD still be met with a stern "no" when it comes to the kind of decision the Dondad is just making there on his own..

And "it's to save his life", well then the Don should probably use that argument and appeal to that kind of morality/weakness, instead of merely forcing his word. Because, again, that should and normally would be met with natural resistance from anybody fit for leadership. And surely the Don can't exactly wish for his heir to be a spineless whimp either, right?
