LOL, yeah... Jack Ryan... So weird how 4 actors have played that character already.

Well, Alec Baldwin and Harrison Ford are both a little long in the tooth to portray Jack in a series that takes place before any of the movies/books. And the 8 years that elapsed IRL after Harrison Ford's appearance in Clear and Present Danger made him too old to play the part in The Sum of All Fears, hence we got Ben Affleck. Harrison Ford was actually a bit old for the role himself when he was cast in place of Alex Baldwin.

John Krasinksi is a really good fit playing the young Ryan. It's a damn fine series.
