What are the changes in easy mode?
It's actually in the patch notes (though I know that's not necessarily where one would look for them VhielSweatDrop ), so here's a copypaste:
EASY MODE exclusive changes:
-All party members' XP gain is doubled.
-Critical hits deal x3 damage instead of x2.
-Elixirs cost half as much gold to buy from the Draining Witch in Woodrot Forest.
-All Escape skills have additional uses.
-Special Radar Rings that disable random encounters and can be worn by anyone can be bought in the Rarities Shop in Gianna Plaza.
-Magic Hairdyes can be bought in the Item Shop in New Rokkas.
-A "Cheat Room" can be accessed through a hidden path in Gianna Castle; just interact with the wall directly south of the entrance to the throne room.
------
HARD MODE exclusive changes:
-All instant cure items usable in battle now take a character's turn to use.
-All curative/restorative items' prices have been either doubled or increased.
-Party members are no longer automatically re-ordered in battle; if someone gets petrified, for example, you may want to use Blow Away or a Wind in a Jar. The party is re-ordered automatically after battle, however.
-All Bosses have 50% more HP. This is a 50% increase from their new HP scores, which have been buffed as described below.
-All characters take 40% more HP damage from all sources.
-All characters have an additional 25% weakness to Erotic.
-All characters have increased odds of being affected by most statuses (the ratio varies depending on the status).
-The Morph skill is now forgotten upon use and must be re-learned each time it's used either by spending JP or using a Morph tome.
-Servers and Trees now generate tips / grow items based on battles won, not times that you transition between areas. Same goes for Hidden Riches, Pregnancy, and Harvest progression.
-A certain Swordswoman has been moved...

Wait Trees grows items? This is the first time I've heard of that.

Yeah Tree's growing stuffs been a thing for a while... the change now is that its on a battle timer instead or a clock timer (so you can farm easier by just getting into a few fights)

That's only for Hard Mode. Normal mode hasn't changed this, while Hard Mode makes all of these tied to total battles = clock time. In Easy and Normal you can exit and re-enter your cabin and your trees with grow. It's the same with Scarecrow harvest skill, Verona's tips, etc.

NO it is exactly to making farming them HARDER, as before they were progressing on map transition, so you could jsut go back and forth between 2 maps a bunch of times to make them grow

Yeah they grow revival roses and penis-mushrooms.
Oh that changes everything. Now I can just turn Commoner Girl into a tree and get free revives.

Btw do you know where to get Animation Scrolls other than Kepiat?

Edit: Nevermind, the Travelling Merchant has it. Of course she does.

Edit Edit: Also tried the new Shandra boss fight. Jesus Christ she straight up "oneshot" your team members instantly.

Tbf... Commoner makes a VERY good puppet (Samona wielding Asura Puppet Commoner with a maxed JP skill and perk Board is one of the 3 most OP things in the game... the others being Maid/Relic Alisha and a Well Built Nuan)

Also Commoner soulgem items are pretty good (not as good as Crimson Soulgem items/greatsword or the Royal Saber... but still great)

Can anyone give a detailed instruction on how to transport save files between versions? Following the instruction in the notes doesn't work for me for whatever reason.

You really shouldn't, and advised against it since it can break things and cause various bugs, but it's just like any RPGM save transfer of simply moving the folder.

even from 3.0 to 3.01 doesn't seem to work . do I have to rename or replace files or something?
Are you copying the entire save folder over or just the filex.sav? Because if you're just taking the file the game doesn't know to look for the save without the config and global.
