It's the end of the month again, so it's time for the last update of the year! The 2020 year has been a messy time for many, including me, so let's hope that next year will be at least a little better. Can't be much worse. I hope.
Other than that, there is not much to do before I can finally release 0.4. After the previous tech beta release last month, I have been fixing some bugs and tinkering with other tech. The only real task still left is basically some script editing and other typo/bug hunting. Not really a huge task, but it's pretty mind-numbing and boring stuff to do and with everything else going on, it has been pretty hard to focus on that sometimes. I don't usually do New Year resolutions, but maybe I can do a New Years' attempt to get the 0.4 out as soon as possible.
As for other content, I finished the rest of the current $10 tier series renders during my holiday and I will be posting those on Patreon during January. I'll also try to post some content from the 0.4. I have been avoiding posting many of them as they can be a bit spoilery, but there should be enough to choose from so that I don't have to give away the whole storyline in advance.
Like before, I'm not going to take any Patreon payments until 0.4 is out (I'll temporarily suspend my Patreon at the end of each month until then).

So, TL;DR:
* Some new tech in 0.4: interactive 3D and pre-rendered movies, at least a few of each. When I get the pipeline (and my skills) working smoothly, next releases should have more.
* Test release done, maybe another one at some point before the real release, testing animations, 3D etc.
* After 0.4 I will try out a bit faster release schedule with partial updates instead of releasing large, complete routes that take ages to finish. We'll see how it goes.
* Steam release at some point after 0.4 is out. Steam has been pretty random with adult games, so who knows what can happen.

So he likes playing with the tech whereas the people loving the story love everything else and couldn't care less about the tech. I mean this year showed it and it's really not showing promise for the future. Disappointing really.

I'm kind of torn between being disappointed and understanding the dev.
Of course i want the update yesterday if not the day before especially since it takes forever, but on the other side i can completely understand that he tries things out because it is his hobby to make this game and there is also the other point of him having a normal job and depending on his profession he had a really, really shitty year with a lot of hard work.
I guess i will simply go and play other stuff until the update shows up and i won't go and judge the dev on his developing speed since i don't know jack shit about the circumstances of his real life.

Be even better if we weren't looking down the barrel of 2 years since the last story update for something some folk won't give a shit about.
Yep! I’m happy for all devs who improve their overall games but not when it means waiting for so long to see an update. I enjoyed this game but only stop in every once in awhile to see if it has come out of its “coma”.

It's his game and as long as he gives a shit about the technical stuff, that's the only thing that matters.
Why do you seem so emotional over a porn game? I get that the story is great, and I also enjoy the characters, but the only reason they are that way is because the author is also emotionally invested in them. If the author doesn't enjoy making the game, you would most likely get complete garbage or nothing at all.
And again, it's not like he's sitting on mountains of cash stolen from some poor unfortunate souls-he paused all the payments, and for me that's the only thing that matters.
And really-don't get so emotionally attached to a game

I think this was the first VN I've ever played.. Doesn't look like the changelog has made any progress. Is that to say there has yet to be an update in the last... Year+?
