Still gives monthly updates but we're coming up to the third year without a content update.
He's got progressively slower with every update. First was 6 month, then 9 month now coming on 3 years. I don't think it's abandoned I just think the dev has a shit work ethic.

honestly with so much content centerd around the Hi school I wouldn't even try to submit Offcuts to steam, it will be rejected faster than sex with Hitler did. Sad about that fact but true since the later was available there for a short time.

Monthly Update: Release Date Edition
It's not yet the end of the month, but it's February 19th and time for some extra early news as promised! Let's get the small stuff out of the way first.
As I have mentioned previously, I'm changing jobs again and moving next week. This means no monthly update next week, this is it as I will probably be very busy and maybe not even around my main computer for some time. My new job should be a lot more relaxed than my current one, which means I will have more time to work on my hobbies, including this one. I might even start doing 4-day workweeks depending on if my Patreon stays alive long enough once I start taking payments again.
And finally, the long promised 0.4 release date (drumroll):
3rd of April
(Give or take a day or two, but should be around that weekend). By that time I should have finished all things related to changes in my personal life. The 0.4 itself has been pretty much done for a while now, but I might as well hit the road running once I release it and not lose momentum juggling my other tasks. March and April will also be a free months for every patron of mine, anyone who has waited for this long deserves it. You can also expect to see some more posts once I manage to unpack my boxes.
And as always, I'm not going to take any Patreon payments until 0.4 is out (I'll temporarily suspend my Patreon at the end of each month until then).
The rest of the post is mostly copy and paste from my previous updates for those who are new or want to be reminded of what will be coming next. See you in the next post, thanks for your support and patience!

So, TL;DR:
* Next release 0.4 will have Alice's full storyline.
* Some new tech in 0.4: interactive 3D and pre-rendered movies, at least a few of each. When I get the pipeline (and my skills) working smoothly, next releases should have more.
* After 0.4 I will try out a bit faster release schedule with partial updates instead of releasing large, complete routes that take ages to finish. We'll see how it goes.
* Steam release at some point after 0.4 is out. Steam has been pretty random with adult games, so who knows what can happen.

Wasn't it "pretty much done for awhile" for about two years or am I misremembering those posts saying the exact same thing?
More like give or take a year or two BUT, an actual day has been mentioned, more than the last two years of vague release dates. By the way, everyone be honest, who is 100% believing this? I myself am around 60%.
Must have been very busy for these last 3 years. Probably got his hand stuck in a pickle jar and its taken this long to get it out just so he can work.

Dont forget the dev is moving, for some reason only devs seem to always be moving and always around the time of a release. Also the fact that it's been done for a while makes this whole situation worse.

Well yeah it has to be the moving houses excuse. Every single dev getting covid right before the release was getting to be a tired excuse. They had to come up with something else. Hey! Maybe in April it will be my cat ate my HDD.

I'm confused how an game that has had no release since 2019 is not marked abandoned on here mods forgot about this one?

Because the creator keeps giving updates on how he hasn't yet finished the latest release... even if it's by a lazy copypasta update.

The game is finished by this point. I don't think the developer has any ideas what to do with any of the other potential routes. I think the three completed routes should be fine for a relatively longish game.

Only fools and Blind pplz can still think this game will be completed one day. Don't expect anything to avoid disappointment. If it gets completed one day, Good. If it doesn't, who cares? Life goes on anyway. This guy is taking + 2 years for a single update !
The oldest members of this site know/learned to DO NOT GET ATTACHED to a game or a Dev's work. Disappointment and Frustration are all that awaits those who forget this Golden Rule.
Oh and to be fair, this also applies to AWAM, Summer's Gone, Come Inside and their endless development cycles + perfectionist Devs who think they're gonna revolutionize the Porn Game World. The truth is no one will remember them after a few faps to their product, no matter how good and realistic they are. Hate my comment if you want, but deep inside, you know it's the Truth. We'll never see the endings of those games. Mark My Words and screenshot my comment if you want. I'm 100% sure all those projects will get abandoned or dropped at one point or another in the future.

Right now I think pretty much everyone is into making jokes about the delays and excuses. It can't be Duke Nukem Forever bad...
Lets just hope StencilBits doesn't pull a LocJaw move with Strange Nights where he posts announcement that the next update will finally come in 2 days then complete disappears without a word.
