Pretty sure it is an Ai setup to troll the patreons. even the comments are mostly made by AI "on patreon" It is honestly kinda funny.

January fake update time: Hairy Palms edition.

Another year has ended and another year has begun. Time for an update:
Offcuts 0.4 is essentially complete. I just need to proofread it, but as I mentioned last update, I'm maybe going blind and can't read as well as I used to, so the proofreading has gone slower than I wanted to too! The Alice Route is complete and this will be the final complete route release. I'll try to release partial updates on routes after 0.4, so I can update more frequently. Maybe that'll make the haters shut up about my procrastination. As always my Patreon is frozen. It will reactivate once I release 0.4 to the public.
For the moment the update cycle will be slower than usual, due to my possible blindness. Also, I've been playing PALWORLD and expect some game references in 0.5 when that comes out. I still need to push 0.4 with Alice's full route.

* Next release 0.4 will have Alice's full storyline.
* Some new tech in 0.4: interactive 3D and pre-rendered movies, at least a few of each. When I get the pipeline (and my skills) working smoothly, next releases should have more.
* After 0.4 I will try out a bit faster release schedule with partial updates instead of releasing large, complete routes that take ages to finish. We'll see how it goes.
* Possible Steam release at some point after 0.4 is out. Steam has been pretty random with adult games, so who knows what can happen.

They gave themselves an easy out, they could post tomorrow, a few months or never again and nothing would have changed. Stencil bits reminds me of The Boy Who Cried Wolf. At this point it doesn't matter what they say because no one will believe them.
The real question is, Why? Why put up this farce for nearly 5 years? What purpose does it serve? What are you trying to accomplish?

The whole "it's coming out next month" charade has been a years long running joke. Sadly, some just don't get it.
It's fav of many of us, hence still so much activity on this thread ecen though it has not been updated for years. All jokes on thread aside we gotta accept reality though.

I love how the "eyesight problem" only seems to affect the game. Yet no mention that it would be interfering with their actual full time job which they said themselves involves traveling.

One post he writes that he spends all day at his job working on a computer but then writes in another post how he can't work on the game for months/years because he can't see his PC.
