If she's menstruating (having periods), she can get pregnant (all other factors being equal)*. The record for pregnancy is 5 (yes, Earth) years, and even the average age is dropping in the last 50 or so years. (Some authorities blame the drop in age of sexual maturity on various hormones used in meat.)
Note: 18 Earth years comes out to just a bit over 11 Venus years. Looks about right...
Update: just noticed the error- it should be vice versa: 18 Venus years = slightly more than 11 Earth years. (That makes the situation even more appropriate.) Blame my typing late at night.
* In fact, it's possible to get pregnant during the first ovulation without having the first menarche. Remember that menstruation is the result of the egg NOT being fertilized. if the timing's just right, that first egg can be fertilized during its ovulation period. No dead corpus=no menses.

Sorry but why, please just let the dev tell his story with out all the BS suggestions. This is one of the many reasons why devs end up abandoning projects. They get derailed by individual comments and suggestions that take there dream away. Then they find themselves in a bad light with there once enjoyable project. So if you want something like that simply put your own dev tag in the ring and make it your damn self.
The story is just find the way it is and I look forward to seeing the developer finishing the story as the dev wants it to be.
Forgive me all, am sure there might be a face-plant or two but they are only beating themselves up.
Since it seems that people are putting out ideas for things the game needs, I'll add a MASSIVE list of improvements.

I completely agree with you. The Dev is the one who tells his story, it's his game, and we decide whether we follow him or not. We have to let the Dev do what he wants to do, and above all that he likes.

Wow. Yeah, that update was really disappointing (Anal scene that gives negative points to the daughter if you decline it.). Don't know if i am gonna like this game now. I think i will just let it update alot and see how declining that effects things in the future before i play it again.
