In the version you get on the OP, there is no blood related incest. Your "family" is just step-mom and her daughters. To have actual incest you need to install the patch, so you can just leave it out and there will be none in the game, or in short it's 100% avoidable.

This is indeed more a sex game than a romance game, and it's heavily focused on the harem path. If you really want a more emotionally deep game with regards to romance, this is probably not gonna make it for you in that regard.

I would recommend playing it nonetheless, for the story and humour, even if some sex-centered "choices" by the MC (meaning the ones you don't choose) feel a little creepy if you look them too closely or with a realistic mindset. I'd say you'd be better off engaging with it using "porn logic", much like one engages the violence in cartoons using "cartoon logic". But if you do manage to have the proper expectations, and abstract some of the porn logic, there's actually some emotional moments, even if they wouldn't look like that under "normal", real-world logic.

For example, not using the incest patch made it way easier for me to "suspend my disbelief", considering I don't particularly have an incest kink. Not meaning to kink-shame anybody who does, though.

Thanks for the advice, but I finally abandoned it. It's not the genre I like. I found the plot interesting, but I don't like harem and easy fuck games. My fault, I trusted a YouTube video where he spoke wonders about the game and the romanticism that it overflowed. Probably because the Dev said back then that there will be Epilogue-scenes. But this is highly unlikely at this point, simply because working with HS2 is so much better than working with HS1. Let alone that the Dev is fully committed to Eternum and even when this is finished, there is already the idea for a new game.

So I would say the probability to get more content or a revisit is 0.
